Would You Be Into Kate Moss Hair and Makeup Products?

Kate Moss has been at the center of the modeling world for 20 years, and we've seen her as the face of all sorts of brands, from the prestigious Gucci, Dior, and Louis Vuitton down to drugstore favorite, Rimmel. Recently, the supermodel, who admits she's "not traditionally a beauty" to WWD, has just launched Vintage ($23-$53), a fruity floriental inspired by her love of vintage fashions.

But as you might know, this isn't the first scent we've seen from Kate. Her debut fragrance, Kate, was introduced in 2007. Then came Velvet Hour, followed by the limited-edition Kate Summer Time; and she's not about to stop now. In fact, Kate also has plans to create special makeup collections for Rimmel, and a haircare line with stylist James Brown is in the works. "It’s fun for me," Moss told WWD. "I still model, and I enjoy doing that as well. Working on the creative process is really interesting for me because I do know what I like, so it’s fun for me to realize that it becomes part of you. It’s not just putting your name on something; it’s about being very involved in it." What do you think about more Kate Moss beauty lines? Are you intrigued or apathetic?

The New Harajuku Lovers Are Sunny and Sweet

Fans of Gwen Stefani's Harajuku Lovers fragrances should love this one. After the success of her Snow Bunnies flanker dolls, Gwen's putting out five new, bikini-clad versions for next Spring. Each has a new scent that matches the personality and fragrance family of the original doll, but adds lighter, more summery notes. I'm loving their cute little belly buttons and adorable pedicures, and while I wasn't crazy about the actual fragrances the first time around, I'm willing to keep an open mind about these new scents. What do you think? Will you be running out to pick these up, or not so much?

Pamela Anderson and Ellen Seal the Deal

SJP Channels Carrie B. For Her New Fragrance

Can't get enough SATC? You'll like this news, then. Sarah Jessica Parker is launching a new scent, called SJP NYC, in conjunction with the release of Sex and the City 2 next May. And as you might expect given the launch date, SJP says this one is more about her SATC character then it is about her. “A large part of the inspiration was what I now understand to be people’s impressions of seeing Carrie Bradshaw walk down the street," she told WWD."We wanted to create a party in a bottle." (I always thought Carrie looked more harried and anxious in the opening than ready to party, but maybe that's just me.)

For those of you interested in hitting the club with this one, the scent is a fruity floral, and the packaging (and low price points-15 ml is $25) makes it seem like it's designed to skew younger. SJP NYC has top notes of Italian mandarin, white osmanthus and strawberries, a big, floral middle with gardenia, honeysuckle, mimosa and rose, and a drydown with sandalwood, vanilla, rum, and musk. What do you think? Will this one be a as lovely and coveted as her other two scents, or do the notes suggest Carrie's not nearly as talented a perfumer as SJP?

Fragrance Is About to Get Fergalicious

There's a new Avon lady in town, and she's more rock-and-roll than most. WWD reports that Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie has signed a deal with Avon. She's no stranger to the beauty world, having represented MAC Viva Glam lipstick, but now she'll have her own product to promote.

The most lucrative part of multi-year contract is expected to involve Fergie's fragrance, which will launch next year. While the juice is still being developed, Fergie says that it will be "fresh and alluring." (As opposed to...?) "The vibe for the scent is for the woman who wears it to feel confident and not be afraid to be noticed," she told WWD. No word yet on the name of the fragrance, but I'll guess that its name will be more ladylike than My Humps. Are you excited for this development? And what do you think the name might be?

Beyoncé Gets Sued Over "Fierce" New Fragrance

Apparently, Abercrombie & Fitch is none too pleased that Beyonce's got a new fragrance, because WWD is reporting that Abercrombie just made a federal complaint against her. It is alleging that the singer's upcoming fragrance would be named after her alter ego, Sasha Fierce, and that the name would infringe on their trademark for Fierce, a cologne. In an odd twist, though, Beyoncé's perfume team is saying they have absolutely no intention of naming the fragrance after Sasha. The juiciest piece of info to come out of this whole debacle? In its filing, Abercrombie said it's spent more than $3 million on scent machines to pump its Fierce fragrance through its stores - meaning that they've been committing the olfactory equivalent of subliminal messaging while you're shopping. Are you surprised?

Beyoncé Gets Her Own Fragrance - Think Kanye's Excited?

WWD is reporting that next Spring, we'll all be able to smell like Beyoncé because the pop star just signed a deal with Coty for her own fragrance. "For me," Beyoncé said about the new scent, "fragrance reflects a woman’s attitude and unique sense of style. While I love various perfumes, I haven’t found a scent that truly personifies me as a woman. Working with Coty, I was able to turn my ideal fragrance into a reality by creating an alluring and sophisticated fragrance, one that’s reflective of my inner power." No word yet on what the notes of that inner power might be, but if they're anything like most other celebrity fragrances, the scent will be sweet and floral. Then again, Beyoncé's got a fierce sense of doing things the right way (bringing Taylor Swift onstage to finish her speech, for example), so this scent may very well be as unique and eclectic as her music. Celebrity fragrance sales are down, but will you be on the hunt for this one come next year anyway?

Whose New Fragrance Ad Do You Like Better- Mariah's or Scarlett's?

The rumors have been swirling for the past few weeks that Scarlett Johansson, the face of Dolce & Gabbana's new makeup line, would also be fronting the design house's new scent, Rose The One ($48 to $90). Today, People confirms with a first look at the new ad. On the other front, the ad for Mariah Carey's new fragrance, Mariah Carey Forever, has also just been released. Both endorsements feature the stars dressed in slinky, form-fitting gowns while striking seductive poses. Each ad also works in a monotone element, with warm, café au lait shades in Mariah's and soft, rosy tones in Scarlett's. If you had to choose your favorite of the duo, which one wins out?

Coming Soon: Mariah Carey Forever

When she's not in a row with Eminem, breaking records for the highest amount of number one singles, or acting in Precious, (the highly anticipated film due out this November), Mariah Carey is selling perfume.

After much success with her first fragrance, M by Mariah Carey in 2007, the songstress is set to launch her sophomore scent, Forever ($42 to $65), this September. The line will also include a parfum ($250!) and a body lotion ($28). Of the inspiration behind the name, Mariah told WWD."I am in a wonderful place right now, surrounded by all the things I love, and Forever captures this moment in time."

Described as an opulent floral, the juice will have top notes of neroli, dewy green apple, and lotus blossom, along with middle notes of gardenia and tuberose. The drydown will consist of exotic woods and white musk. As for the bottle, its design is modeled after Mariah's appreciation for art deco stylings. Is it me, or are you reminded of Superman's fortress of ice crystals? Will you give Forever a shot, or are you thinking, forget about it?
