I don't know that much about Star Trek (except how to do an awesome Captain Kirk impersonation) but I do know that Zoe looked out of this world at the film's LA premiere.
Celebrity stylist Mara Roszak created a lovely look for the stunning actress using the same TRESemmé products found at your local drugstore. Live long and prosper when you follow her tips for making this sleek style at home.

In between checking out the fashion and the beauty while watching Thursday's NAACP Image Awards, I also hoped to spot a fun hairstyle to test out at home. Since she's already a favorite regardless of her beauty look, I was happy to see Sanaa's glamorous updo on the red carpet. Even though I'm fairly certain she got some "help" with that braid, and possibly part of the bun, I wanted to come up with a take on this style that we could re-create at home without hair extensions.

Boy, was I inspired by Sunday's SAG Awards. I've gathered up some pictures (like before) with both understated and overt beauty choices. Once again, I'm only comparing the same feature of one celebrity with herself.

Whether we love it or hate it in the end, it's great to see celebrities take risks with their looks. I've gathered some contrasting photos where one beauty detail is more exaggerated or less exaggerated in each picture. To make it fair, I'm only comparing the same celebrity with herself – so get started and let me know if you like a big impact or a more subtle look.

I've gotta hand it to Megan Fox for this hairstyle. Whether or not you're a fan of this actress or the look, it definitely seems like a hard one to pull off. From the front, it appears like any other slicked-back style, but it's actually a French twist created with two sections instead of just one.

We always seem to see Rosario Dawson with the same big smile on her face, no matter where she is. She's one of my favorite actresses because she comes across as cool and smart — not to mention, she knows how to showcase a lot of versatile looks. These recent ones show how differently placed bangs, waves, even length can really switch up a style .

It's hard knowing that many awesome styles on the red carpet are tricky to recreate at home without pricey extensions. Hard . .

No matter what style she chooses for her hair (and extensions), Kate Beckinsale always manages to look polished with nary a hair-y out of place (har har). Proving why I focus on beauty and not poetry, stop me now and tell me which of these you prefer?

Same day, two very different lengths. At the grand opening celebrations for Victoria Secret's new flagship store in NYC, Heidi Klum wore her hair long and wavy for the ribbon-cutting ceremony. Later, at the cocktail reception, she sported some serious red lipstick and a trendy shoulder-length bob — aka the "lob," or long bob.Perhaps it was a little hair tucking and some pinning trickery.
