I don't know if you heard the recent brouhaha over Celine Dion, but some news folks aren't too happy with her? Why, you ask? Because - horror of horrors - our Quebecoise homegirl has leg hair. And it showed up in photographs during her concert. I know, it's inexcusable.

Look, I'm probably never going to be Celine's biggest fan musically, but when a major metropolitan newspaper starts nitpicking her body hair, you can bet I'm on Team Celine. I'm guessing her fans couldn't care less whether she shaves her legs or not; they're just there to experience her overall nuttiness and music. Beyond that, it's 2008 - shouldn't we be beyond tsk-tsking a grown woman for having a little light peach fuzz on her gams?

She is revered in Hollywood as "the hairdresser's hairdresser," because it is in her chair that the first steps of hair magic begin. Sheila lays the foundation by attaching extensions and providing a preliminary cut and/or color before A-listers pay a visit to their favorite specialists for the finishing touches.

Enchanting by Celine Dion

Another celebrity, another fragrance. Don't get me wrong, I'm not hating on celebs capitalizing on branding themselves, but I just can not get over the sheer quanity of perfumes out there from singers, actresses and models. The latest launch comes from Celine Dion and it's called Enchanting.

Developed by James Krivda of Givaudan, Enchanting contains a sweet blend of osmanthus, red berries, cyclamen, diamond orchid, gardenia, freesia, mimosa, sandalwood, amber and tonka bean. It is packaged in a tall, multi-faceted glass slender glass bottle and the outer packaging is dark navy with gold floral lattice detail.

The Enchanting product range includes four eau de toilette sprays ($20–$48) and a body lotion ($12). All purchases also come with a promotional CD. (I'm sure that last bit will be joyous news to my father, who-for years-has endured my mother's habit of putting Celine's duet with Barbra Streisand on "repeat" in the CD player.)

These green goddessess aren't trying to make an environmental statement, they are trying to make a fashion statement on the red carpet. Personally, I think green is a daring, happy and beautiful color if done in the right shade for the right skin tone - case in point: Celine Dion's olive green dress with her light auburn hair. How do you guys feel about green gowns on the red carpet?

I can barely keep up with all the celebrity fragrances this fall: There's Sarah Jessica Parker Covet, M by Mariah Carey, Britney Spears Believe, Christina Aguilera, Intimately Beckham and Paris Hilton Can Can-to name just a few. Soon, we'll also have new scents from Daisy Fuentes, Kylie Minogue, Naomi Campbell, Celine Dion, Kate Moss, Carmen Electra, Jessica Simpson and Paula Abdul. (And let's not forget Antonio Banderas for the guys!)
