Paul Walker Talks About Being Shirtless and "Accidentally Sexy"

Forgive us for stating the obvious, but Paul Walker is a good-looking man. This is no surprise to anyone who's seen his blue eyes in films like The Fast and the Furious, and the sight of him running shirtless in the new Davidoff Cool Water ad campaign just drives the point home. But if Walker, 38, is even remotely aware of his sex symbol status, he definitely doesn't let on. While talking with him in Malibu recently, we found him to be a completely down-to-earth guy. He loves to surf, calls Budweiser one of his favorite beers, and geeks out over Audubon field guide apps - and he just happens to be the new face of one of the world's best-selling men's fragrances, too. Oh Man: "Lost" Star Josh Holloway Is Cool (Water)

A few weeks ago, I told you about a new women's fragrance called Davidoff Cool Water Wave, which features beach-sports babe Gabrielle Reece in its ads. Now, perfume maker Coty Inc. has found an equally hot dude as the new face of its men's fragrance.

According to Women's Wear Daily, "Lost" star Josh Holloway will star in ads for Davidoff Cool Water worldwide - except in North America, where Reece's husband, surfer Laird Hamilton, is the brand's main model. Holloway's campaign, including print ads and TV spots, will begin rolling out this summer.

Holloway, who plays the character of Sawyer, lives in Hawaii, where "Lost" is filmed and where the Cool Water campaign was shot.

The actor told WWD he recently starting wearing Cool Water again after not using it for several years:

“My wife’s got a crush on me again,” he said, smiling. Holloway added he’d be open to working on his own line of products, if the opportunity arose.

“But it would probably not be as elegant as Cool Water,” he joked. “It’d be more like Man Juice.”

I could make an inappropriate comment here, but I won't. Instead, I'll just say that whatever fragrance Holloway is selling, I'll enjoy looking at the ads.

Catch The Wave: Cool Water Wave by Davidoff

You are probably familiar with Davidoff from way back in 1988, when the brand launched its infamous and sexy cologne for men called Cool Water. I'm willing to bet that you dated a guy or had a brother or Dad that was a huge fan of this instant aphrodisiac.

The female counterpart, Cool Water for Women, was also pretty ubiquitous for a while, and now Davidoff is getting ready to launch another fragrance later this month, called Cool Water Wave for Women. Since the company is expecting it to be a big splash, Davidoff signed beach-sports babe, Gabrielle Reece, as the face of the fragrance. Here's a peek at one of the ads.

Cool Water Wave is made from watermelon, mango, passion fruit, guava, peony, freesia, heliotrope, pink peppercorn, iris wood, sandalwood, amber, and musk. This fragrance makes a hat-trick of seductively spicy scents by Davidoff, but unlike the others, Wave is also fruity, light, and extremely feminine. I happen to like it.
