Mila Kunis Shows Off Her Ladylike Style For Dior in New Ad Campaign

Dior has chosen Mila Kunis as the face for its latest ad campaign featuring its iconic Miss Dior bags. "I am absolutely thrilled to be working with Dior. The brand is iconic in so many ways. It defines fashion, elegance and sophistication," said Kunis. The Spring '12 campaign, shot by Mikael Jansson, shows Kunis looking Parisian chic wearing fancy black Dior dresses paired with the newest colors and finishes from the Miss Dior handbag collection. Miss Dior bags are beautiful on their own, but Mila clutching on to one makes it just that much more covetable. Dior Marks Art Basel With a Painter's Palette

If you want a chance at what may be 2012's most artistic beauty offerings, get in line for Dior's designer collaboration with German painter, sculptor, and installationist Anselm Reyle. The Berlin-based artist is known for working with bright colors and unexpected materials like neon tubing, and his violet camouflage eye shadow palette for Dior echoes his aesthetic perfectly. It's all part of a larger Dior accessories collection Reyle designed, which includes handbags and camo-print sandals. The palette ($110), along with five nail lacquers ($23) in Reyle-inspired hues, will be feted at a private party during Art Basel Miami this week. Not on the invite list? Look for the goods at Saks Fifth Avenue in January.

John Galliano Found Guilty

The verdict is finally out on John Galliano. The designer has been found guilty of racism and anti-Semitism and is sentenced to a fine of 17,500 euros.

The incident, for which he has been charged, took place at a Paris cafe in February where he hurled racist and anti-Semitic remarks at Geraldine Bloch and Philippe Virgiti. Galliano says that he remembers nothing and claims that he was suffering from alcohol, sleeping pill, and Valium addictions at the time. His employers at Christian Dior dismissed him soon after where he was also released from his very own label.

Since the incident, he has undergone rehabilitation and has apologised to the plaintiffs. He said, "All my life I’ve fought against prejudice and intolerance and discrimination, because I have been subjected to it myself."

Galliano, who was not at the actual hearing this morning, should consider himself lucky not to have to pay the maximum penalty in France for this type of crime, which is six months in jail and a 22,500 euro fine. What are your thoughts on the outcome of John Galliano's trial?

Charlize Theron Walks Through Hollywood History in New Dior Commercial

Charlize Theron's latest spot for J'adore Dior is literally a walk through Hollywood history. It features footage of golden age screen sirens overlaid on modern shots so that Marilyn Monroe and Grace Kelly, among others, seem to be sharing the Dior dressing room with Charlize. It's an impressively executed ad, and the CGI is really well done. Watch the commercial and see if you can name all the iconic ladies who make an appearance.

The seat at Dior has been left empty since John Galliano was ousted for racist remarks, but it looks like LVMH chair Bernard Arnault might be close to announcing a new successor for the French brand: Marc Jacobs. According to WWD, Bernard Arnault is currently is in serious talks with Marc Jacobs about becoming the new designer for Dior, but where does that leave Arnault's other big brand, Louis Vuitton? Apparently, Phoebe Philo is said to be first in line to take over the title at Vuitton, and, if she does, she will also maintain her position at Celine. In the midst off all of the shuffling, would you be excited to see Marc Jacobs design for Dior?
