Touring Favourites Victorious At Vodafone Live Music Awards

The 2008 Vodafone Live Music Awards were held at Brixton Academy last night, celebrating the best tours, gigs and live music acts of the past year. Mark Ronson and Kate Nash were honoured with the Best Male and Best Female awards, and Primal Scream picked up two awards for Best Live Act and Outstanding Contribution to Live Music. Emma Bunton took home the Spice Girls' award for Best Live Return, while Take That (sadly not present) were awarded the Tour Of The Year title - having been to it I think this was totally well-deserved!

Holly Willoughby looked cute as a button in her pink dress, while her friend Fearne Cotton rocked it up a notch on the red carpet in her billowing dress. I love their looks. The men's looks ranged from casual - Nicholas Hoult - to smart - Will Young - to Mark Ronson's rather eccentric look.

Emma Spices Up The London Restaurant Awards

Emma Bunton and her partner Jade Jones joined a whole host of chefs at the Grosvenor House Hotel last night for the London Restaurant Awards. It looks like the slim Spice Girl's kept up her ballroom and Latin moves since appearing on Strictly Come Dancing - perhaps she had a chat with John Torode, who wore a rather splendid scarf, about appearing on Celebrity Masterchef? Emma also cuddled up to that show's most recent winner, Atomic Kitten's Liz McClarnon, who will be presenting a four part cooking series for GMTV. I don't think Liz will be giving Ainsley Harriott, Richard Corrigan or Outstanding Contribution Award winner Mark Hix a run for their money any time soon, but I'm sure the show will be good fun.

Lily's In The Pink Among LBDs & Spice At The Glammies

Last night London played host to the Glamour Women Of The Year Awards – an event full to the brim with glam UK celebs, and a couple of Hollywood stars too... but everyone was talking about Lily Allen's new pink do! Lily was there to pick up the Editor's Special Award for all she's done this year, editor Jo Elvin explained:

"With reams of column inches to match her considerable talents, no Women of the Year line-up could be complete without the one and only Lily Allen."

She's certainly made an impact this year, that's for sure! Just over half of the Spice Girls glammed themselves up to attend – Mel B, Emma and Geri picked up the award for Best Band – and brought their partners too. Daisy Lowe was on hand to support Man Of The Year Mark Ronson, Paul O'Grady helped Best International Musician Beth Ditto down the perilous stage steps, and lovely Joanna Page won Best Comedy Actress for her work on the amazing Gavin And Stacey.

Emma And Geri Spice Up San Francisco

Emma Bunton and her man Jade Jones met up with Geri Halliwell at the airport in San Francisco as they arrived for Spice Girls manager Simon Fuller's wedding. I must let my girls at the SF Sugar HQ know that some Spices are in town! Geri was looking summery and tiny in her loose white cami, whereas Emma looked like she was dressed more for our current British weather in her all-black ensemble... love her bag.

All three looked super smiley and happy in the sunshine, and why not when they have a wedding and gorgeous weather to look forward to!

Super Mums In Super-Sized Shades

Check out Myleene's superhero pose after lifting her daughter Ava into her waiting car, buggy and all. She's definitely a super-mum, especially when you see she did all that in wedges too! Also, this weekend Emma Bunton arrived at LAX with her man Jade and her wide-eyed baby Beau. He is so adorable. Emma's ex-bandmate Geri Halliwell continued the fashion for Mums in sunglasses while out with Ivan and curly haired Bluebell on Saturday, in a much more casual outfit than she wore to work on Sunday.

She picked up some books too – perhaps checking out the competition? I think its safe to say that all three ladies are doing their gorgeous children proud, and the sunglasses are probably useful to hide the effects of those late nights...

Celebs Clash, Co-ordinate and Kiss at Capital Awards

The usual culprits were crowned winners at yesterday's Capital Awards at Park Plaza Riverbank Hotel, with Take That, Mark Ronson, Mika and Leona Lewis all scooping gongs. The ceremony was hosted by the radio station's very own Johnny Vaughan and Denise Van Outen, and although some of the winners were missing from the party there were plenty of other celebs in attendance, getting up to mischief (Sarah Harding and Simon Webbe, I'm looking at you!). Girls Aloud won the Fabulous Award in their clashing outfits while Emma Bunton and Mel C co-ordinated their monochrome look - do you ever co-ordinate with your pals? The matching ladies were there on behalf of the Spice Girls to pick up one of three Capital Icon Awards that were handed out: the other two went to Sharleen Spiteri and Destiny's Child, represented by Kelly Rowland.

Jewel Tones Rule at Children's Champions Gala Ball

Dresses in jewel tones are certainly brightening up our storm-filled week - hot on the heels of Tuesday's TRIC Awards came the Children's Champions Gala Ball last night, with several stars stepping out in bold colours. There were ladies in red in the shape of Caprice and EastEnders' Kara Tointon (who wore a cute green and blue dress on Tuesday), while Amanda Holden went with a chest-revealing emerald outfit and Rock Rivals' Michelle Collins looked great in purple. There was a fine selection of LBDs on the red carpet too - I particularly liked Louisa Lytton's strapless number, and Emma Bunton looked like a yummy mummy in her simple black dress. The event, held at London's Renaissance Chancery Court Hotel, wasn't only attended by singers and soap stars, however - the Prime Minister himself was there! He said:

"There are so many unsung heroes in this country working tirelessly for young people, ensuring that the next generation grows up happy, healthy and safe from harm ... It will be my privilege to shake their hands."

I must admit I was surprised to see PM Gordon Brown in the same room as Big Brother 8's Victoria Beckham wannabe Chanelle Hayes - it's like seeing two separate worlds collide! But everyone was there for a great cause - to celebrate those who make a positive difference to children's lives.
