Blue might just be having a moment. From oceanic polish colors to recent avant-garde looks we saw on the runway in New York, perhaps there is a slight resurgence of the cool-toned shade as of late. Do you think that blue is cool but don't want to run the risk of looking totally '80s?

With the rainbow of colors featured at Derek Lam for his showing at 2010 New York Fashion Week, I think we all sensed a bit of an '80s vibe. Tom Pecheux for NARS Cosmetics created this vivid look. "I wanted to dot the lips red with my fingers rather than draw a straight line of color," he said.

Throughout the past few months, there have been plenty of fresh eye makeup styles and high-to-the-sky hairstyles to go along with these free-spirited occasions. I love the look of a dark eyeliner rimmed with precision around the lash lines. Not only does it make eye color pop, particularly when encircled by a contrasting shadow, but the dark tone creates a brightening contrast against the whites of the eyes. But do you have a hard time getting that liner to stay put, and does your waterline application never seem to go as planned?

We all look a little tired from time to time, whether it's after an all-nighter of working, studying, or partying. The third season of Mad Men is set to premiere on Aug. 16, and the show's stars were out to celebrate last night in LA. Normally, we see Christina Hendricks's character, Joan Holloway, decked out in some vivid colors on the show.
