Father's Day is one of those times when I like to get a little bit mushier than usual with my dad. It's so easy to pick up a sappy card, write down all of your feelings, and give him a great big bear hug like you used to when you were little.
Since Dad happens to also be a guy, I find it works best to balance out the sweet card with an indulgent (and not-so-serious) grooming gift like cologne, a handmade aftershave, or a new soap.

The classic dad is part handyman, part rugged, slightly techy, and maybe even a little bit preppy. He's the kind of guy who doesn't fuss much with products, but the ones he does use are time-honored and he's very brand loyal. Pops definitely likes to look good, but he's equally as interested in the beauty of the outdoors and maintaining beauty from within.

Personally, I always find it challenging to find something thoughtful, meaningful and practical for guys, especially the rugged, sporty type.
