Fragrance Is About to Get Fergalicious

There's a new Avon lady in town, and she's more rock-and-roll than most. WWD reports that Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie has signed a deal with Avon. She's no stranger to the beauty world, having represented MAC Viva Glam lipstick, but now she'll have her own product to promote.

The most lucrative part of multi-year contract is expected to involve Fergie's fragrance, which will launch next year. While the juice is still being developed, Fergie says that it will be "fresh and alluring." (As opposed to...?) "The vibe for the scent is for the woman who wears it to feel confident and not be afraid to be noticed," she told WWD. No word yet on the name of the fragrance, but I'll guess that its name will be more ladylike than My Humps. Are you excited for this development? And what do you think the name might be?

Love It or Hate It? Fergie's Artistic Hair

Last night at the Nomads Two Worlds Art Preview in Melbourne, Fergie arrived with hair that looked like a piece of sculpture, with a big, curled forelock and a couple of minibuns, as well as what I can only assume are extensions in a fall down her back. Fergie is a beautiful woman, obviously, and she's never afraid to go bleeding-edge cool, but what do you think? Is this look experimental, runway haute, or is it just too much thrown together?

Compared to last year's look, Fergie's TCA look is a total 180. Instead of blond hair in a fishtail braid, she's sporting long, chocolaty brown hair, and her makeup is tweaked just enough to go along with the darker tones of her hair. In a recent poll, most of you weren't loving the newer color (although some were happy to get the details on her brown highlights). Do you like her hair and makeup choices at the TCAs, or do you simply prefer a lighter look on her?

Love It or Hate It: Fergie's Skinny Metallic Braid

While most of you weren't loving the darker tone Fergie unveiled in March, it looks like this chocolate-brown color is here to stay. Are you getting used to her brunette locks yet?

Back in her blonder days, the singer wore a wavy fishtail braid style, and now, the fishtail is back - or at least that's what it appears to be. This time around, it's got a little more bling and a lot more attitude. At event over the weekend, Fergie wrapped this tightly pulled version with a metallic detail, lending a futuristic look to her ensemble.

What do you think of this avant-garde hairstyle? I'm a little on the fence, but then again, unique styles are what give rock stars their funky edge. Tell me what you think.

Love It or Hate It: Fergie's Modern Flapper Hairstyle

On Wednesday, Fergie and her handsome husband attended a Vanity Fair party at LA's famed Chateau Marmont. There was something different about the newlywed that I just can't quite grasp. Perhaps it's a just-been-married glow or maybe it's simply that the normally bronze-faced singer is sporting a paler complexion. Always one to add some flash, her side-swept locks were curled and teased in an avant garde flapper style. To set off the look, she added a thin black headband adorned with a metallic floral detail. Do you like her jazzed-up take on this 1920's style or does it give you the blues?

Love It or Hate It? Fergie's Fashion Rocks Look

Fergie kept her hair and makeup toned-down to complement her boho top and skinny black pants at Fashion Rocks. Her uneven part and loose waves definitely take the edge off her head-to-toe Gucci outfit. While it's refreshing to see Fergie's makeup a little more soft than usual, I would have loved a little bit more dimension in her color scheme. What do you think?

Fergie's makeup was pretty much the same at last year's Teen Choice Awards: Nude lips and highlighted cheekbones. But wowza, what a different hairstyle. Looks like she couldn't decide between face-framing curls and a thick braid, so she went with both. What do you think - hit or miss?

Love It or Hate It? Fergie's Costume Institute Gala Look

Fergie went for it tonight: D.R.A.M.A. First she accessorized her dress with seven - count them, seven - earrings. But what was even more blaring was that eye makeup. She went really, really goth-chic with that smokey silver shadow. The pulled-back hair looks a little more sophisticated than the rest of the look. All in all, a little haphazard, but I'm glad she had fun with the theme. Are you?
