Whose Male Rocker Makeup Do You Like Most?

Punk, glam, and goth hit their peak decades ago, but a few rocker dudes still sport makeup today. There's Gerard Way from the band My Chemical Romance, who has worn everything from black to purple to red eye makeup. Then there's Pete Wentz who loves guyliner so much that he created his own line of makeup (kidding - sheesh)! Last but not least is former teen heartthrob Jared Leto, who wears creamy metallic eyeshadow, liner, mascara, and even stripes of bright-pink lipstick on his cheeks.

These guys have a style that's all their own, but I gotta say, it reminds me of angsty dudes I knew in high school - so it isn't exactly the sexiest look to me personally. Out of these three rebel rockers, who do you think pulls the look off best?

Talk about being a sexy, savvy celebrity. A friend just passed along this interesting tidbit about Gerard Butler - the fine-looking 300 actor was trained as a lawyer! This hottie earned his law degree at the University of Glasgow, and was even the president of his school's Law Society. It seems like being an actor was more his calling, and after being fired from his trainee lawyer job, Gerard decided to switch career paths.

It's pretty inspiring to see him jump industries - it kind of reaffirms the fact that if there's a will, there's always a way! Take it as another story to inspire you to chase your dream career.

Gerard Butler Says Shooting Machine Gun Preacher Made Him Feel Like He Had Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder

Gerard Butler stars in this week's new release Machine Gun Preacher as Sam Childers, a man who left a life of crime and drug addiction to devote himself to his children who'd been affected by the violent attacks of the Lord's Resistance Army in the Sudan. Butler, who also serves as executive producer, and his costar Michelle Monaghan, who plays Sam's wife Lynn, chatted with us during a recent press day in San Francisco. They talked about what it was like portraying real people, how Butler prepared for the role, and the difficulties he endured while filming some of the more disturbing scenes in Africa.

Did you know about Sam's story, and what did you think of the title when you heard it?
Gerard Butler: It was my agent who'd heard about it for a long time, and he loved it, was very passionate about it for a long time. He pitched the story to me, so I immediately connected Machine Gun Preacher with a guy who fought for children in the Sudan. I like the [title] Machine Gun Preacher, I think it's very catchy, but I think that it allows the movie to reveal the far deeper, interesting, more complex story. And yet to let people know that it's a crazy ass movie at the same time. He's a crazy ass guy, a hell of a powerful adventurer as well. I didn't know about it before, and [then] I wanted everyone to know about it.

Michelle Monaghan: I mean obviously, I got the script and saw Machine Gun Preacher, and I was intrigued - come on! I was completely inspired when I'd read it. This is definitely a project I wanted to be a part of, and certainly knowing that Gerry was on board to tell his story, as was Marc Forster, only cemented the idea of being a part of it even more.

There was already a bright buzz before the Diesel Black Gold Spring show even started thanks to a celebrity appearance from Gerard Butler. As Gerard sauntered up to his front-row seat, photographers and guests went crazy just for a glimpse of the actor, who arrived at the event wearing a pair of broken-in Diesel jeans and a t-shirt. The excitement didn't stop there: Creative Director Sophia Kokosalaki showed an equally standout collection for the brand, offering up a heavy helping of high sheen and utilitarian details. Jewel-toned metallics hit the runway in the way of fit and flared jeans and leather jackets while Bermuda short silhouettes added a refreshing twist to the urban collection. We especially loved the track shorts, which were paired with crisp button-down shirts, tailored blazers, and cool cutout booties playing into the menswear vibe. As the collection moved from day to night, Sophia showed a bevy of draped navy dresses, one of which was layered with an amazing neoprene bustier with buckle strap details. Last night's BAFTA Awards in London brought out many award season regulars, with Amy Adams and Emma Stone leading the way for the ladies in their bright gowns. Emma Watson, meanwhile, picked a nude Valentino to support her Harry Potter films. Jessica Alba, with red lips and braided hair, picked the popular color of blue in Versace, along with a Tom Ford-clad Julianne Moore and Jennifer Lawrence in Stella McCartney. One star missing from the red carpet was Natalie Portman, whose Black Swan director, Darren Aronofsky, ended up taking home her best actress honor. Emma is so far winning as the evening's best dressed, but who's your pick?

The King's Speech took home best film, with stars Colin Firth, Helena Bonham Carter, and Geoffrey Rush each also collecting wins for best actor, supporting actress, and supporting actor. Colin and more represented the sexy guys at the show, with Spider-Man himself, Andrew Garfield, on hand alongside his Social Network costar Jesse Eisenberg.
