How-To: Gina Gershon's Sexy Stage Makeup Look

Meow. Sex kitten Gina Gershon knows how to turn heads with her killer smile and effortless sex appeal. She looked stunning at the 2008 Tony Awards channeling old Hollywood with a beautiful diamond-brooch hair accessory and hint of edgy New York spark with her two-toned hair.

FACE: Blend a medium-colored ivory foundation all over your face and neck and smooth using your fingers. Tip: Remember to match your foundation with your skin. If you look at Gina's neck and chest, it's slightly darker than her face (oops).
CHEEKS: Apply a soft pink powder blush such as Yves Saint Laurent Touche Blush in Rose to the apples of your cheeks and along your cheekbones. Follow with a dab of creamy luminizer and blend with a makeup sponge for a subtle effect.
EYES: Try using an eye shadow palette like this Starry-Eyed Baked Eye Shadow Trio in Evening Star from Lorac. Begin by sweeping a shimmery, silvery shadow all over the lid, then apply a deeper gray color to the crease. Line your upper- and lower-lash line with a metallic charcoal shadow and finish with two coats of mascara. It looks like Gina skipped using false lashes, but I think a few corner lashes would look fantastic.
LIPS: Lastly, line lips with a nude lip liner and using a lip brush, apply a creamy peach-colored lipstick such as Smashbox Photo Finish Lipstick in Beautiful all over your lips. Lastly, dab an ultrashiny translucent lip gloss in the center of your lower lip for a sexy, attention-getting finish.

Ah, Gina Gershon. What's not to love? She's a total fox at 45, she plays a cosmetics mogul on Ugly Betty, she's got dry wit, and she named her new album after her kitty. Smart, sexy, and a cat lady - hmm, sounds like someone I know. Ahem.

While I'm obviously a fan of Gina, I'm not sure about the loose corkscrew curls she wore to last night's Adrienne Shelly Foundation Inaugural Benefit after party. They feel slightly too little girlish to me, but maybe that's because I think Gina is wonderfully womanly. (Let's face it, she could grow a bright blue mohawk and I'd still be gaga for her.) What do you think of this hairstyle on Gina?

I'll always have a soft spot in my heart for Jennifer Tilly's and fellow hair daredevil Gina Gershon's performances in Bound. Jennifer's hair is naturally black, but I love how she's experimenting with an auburn hue. It's a large improvement over another dye job she had back in the day. What do you think of it?

Is it me or do you also think that Eva Mendes looks like a cross between Gina Gershon, Cindy Crawford and Sophia Loren? I think I have a girl crush on her! Plus, she can somehow pull off looking like a million bucks in all of these lipstick shades. Some gals get all the looks, huh. If I had to choose my favorite, I'd pick the center one. She looks the most classical here. Which lipstick do you think is the most flattering on Eva?
