The New Harajuku Lovers Are Sunny and Sweet

Fans of Gwen Stefani's Harajuku Lovers fragrances should love this one. After the success of her Snow Bunnies flanker dolls, Gwen's putting out five new, bikini-clad versions for next Spring. Each has a new scent that matches the personality and fragrance family of the original doll, but adds lighter, more summery notes. I'm loving their cute little belly buttons and adorable pedicures, and while I wasn't crazy about the actual fragrances the first time around, I'm willing to keep an open mind about these new scents. What do you think? Will you be running out to pick these up, or not so much?

Whether she's wearing white nail polish or silvery-white locks, I think we can all agree that Gwen Stefani is truly adventuresome with her beauty looks. Last night, at the Fashion Group International's annual Night of Stars, she was a blast from the past, walking the red carpet with a '60s-inspired look. Gwen's bouffant hair, which was paired with paled-out lips, highly emphasized brows, and super-thick black liner, is atypical of her look, which usually has a bit of a rocker twist. What do you think of Gwen's Bond Girl ensemble: yeah baby, yeah - or no baby, no?

A Few Beauty Tidbits From Gwen at Spring Fashion Week

It's 2010 Spring Fashion Week, and one of the first designers to show her collection was L.A.M.B.'s Gwen Stefani. For her show, the models wore MAC makeup on their faces, Vaseline's soon-to-be-released Sheer Infusion Body Lotion ($6.25 to $9) on their skin, and a trendy, opaque white shade of nail polish from Dashing Diva called NYC Fleet Week ($8). Lucky for us, Pop caught up with Gwen in NYC and asked her about her popular Harajuku Lovers line, for which Snow Bunnies ($30) just launched.

"Sunshine Cuties is coming out in the Spring," Gwen dished. And by the sound of it, there's something else up Gwen's perfume sleeve. "There's always something in the works. I do really enjoy doing the fragrances," she added. I guess we'll have to wait and see what she's got cooking in the scent department. In the meantime, I'm off to get my white nail polish trend on. How about you?

Recently, I caught a rerun of Paula's Party on the Food Network, where silver-haired TV personality Jay Manuel, of ANTM fame, dished out hair color tips to fellow silver-haired host Paula Deen. If I'm not mistaken, I believe he said he uses a toner by the name of "Silver Lady" to get that distinctive lustrous shade. This got me to thinking about other silvered stars. Trend Alert: Light, (Almost) White Nail Polish

With the matte nail trend going full force, it's all about polishes with white, off-white, and nearly white tones. While it has the low-shine finish that's so very of-the-moment, it's not a chalky, dull look, but it's not an overly sheer or glossy look, either.

The always-fashionable Gwen Stefani has been spotted wearing a more opaque version during her current tour with No Doubt, and other celebrities, such as Paris Hilton, Rachel Zoe, and Molly Sims, have taken part - each with her own twist on the trend.

Beauty Byte: Harajuku Lovers Get New Outfits For Winter

Gwen Stefani's Harajuku Lovers perfumes launched nearly a year ago with great success. Soon, in lieu of launching additional "girls" to the collection, expect to see each of the five dolls decked out in new wardrobes. "We brainstormed lots of ideas, but Snow Bunnies just felt and looked right, since it was coming out during the winter season," Gwen told WWD. "I loved the idea of the girls going skiing, snowboarding, sledding and having hot chocolate," she added. Expect to see the Snow Bunnies ($30) out in stores this September, along with future outfit changes each season. Whether you love the scents or not, you have to admit the No Doubt frontwoman is one creative lamb.
