Designer Reid Peppard certainly knows what to do with vermin. The Central Sain Martins grad has a line of taxidermied accessories out that's burning up the interwebs. If you think these things look a little macabre and cruel, Reid says rest assured that "every effort has been taken to see that the creatures used in RP/ENCORE are victims of road kill, pest control, or natural death.

Most of us, at some point, went through a "bow" phase, even if it was when we were 4. Some celebrities, though, never stop loving bows, and some of them take the look to extremes of size and shape that would have dazzled even your kindergarten self. Click through and get bowled over by the girliest of hair ornaments.

Let's say you're going to see MGMT, but your tee-and-jeans combination doesn't have that certain sparkly hippie vibe. Do not despair, because LA Native has you covered. Inspired by beaches and canyons of their home city, Angelenos Bekah Bourget and Emily Hudson incorporate natural materials (feathers, leather) and vintage charms to create their line of headbands ($65–$80).

There are few designations as likely to cause an argument among friends, I've found, than what exactly the item to the right should properly be called. We almost all use them, but the variety of terminology is quite wide, and I never realized till I moved away from home for college that they could be called anything other than what I'd grown up knowing them as. So what's it gonna be?

Forever 21's claim to fame is its astonishingly low-cost trendy fashions. Since I can't handle shopping at the store (it's too overwhelming), I get my affordable trend fix online, where I came across this Fab Hairband Elastic Ball ($3.50), available in three color schemes.
Perhaps you've kept your rubber bands and/or elastic bands stored in a similar ball-like fashion before, and these these cleverly collected elastic bands ensure that you'll never be digging in your bag again.

Hair accessories are hot, hot, hot right now, and they come in all shapes and sizes. Blame it all on the many headbands of Blair Waldorf or the various hair stylings of Mischa, Nicole, and Paris, if you will. Have you been taking note of what the stars have been adorning their locks with over the past few weeks?

I'm not sure what to think about the Thinny Hair Holder ($20), a volume-boosting contraption that resembles a Velcro crown. I'm also not so sure what to think about this awkward low-budget commercial, which might be light on the editing, but high on the entertainment value, particularly when the product falls off of her velveteen demo board. While Bumpits, a similar device for creating loads of lift, seems to be quite popular — it's even used on the Gossip Girl set — I have to wonder if the Thinny Hair Holder will have success, too?

I wear a lot of black, and I mean a lot, so I'm always looking for different ways to spruce up my ensembles. From cardigans to shoes, animal prints give any outfit a little extra punch of both sexy and sweet.
We've seen these types of roaring designs from tweezers to bronzers to concealers (see my You Sexy Beast series for more), so why not take it a step further?

In these tough economic times, my new favorite saying is "why buy when you can DIY?" As much as I adore fancy hair adornments, I can't always justify the cost of the pricey barrettes and bands I covet. (Sorry, Blair.) So, I headed to my local craft store and picked up enough goodies for several different projects.

Earlier this year Drew told me her reasoning for going back to blonde. And at last night's premiere of Grey Gardens, the stylish star looked ever the glamorous blond bombshell, opting for a retro feel with red lips, a creamy complexion, and a finger-waved hairstyle. The pièce de résistance was a beaded metallic floral hair accessory with netting.
