Spray a tissue with a few spritzes, and then wipe off. The hairspray will help the hair to stick to the tissue, and soon your furniture will be as good as new. That is, until your next snuggle session with Fido.

Kelly Osbourne Has a Little Hairspray Problem

A majority of Bella readers admit that they've accidentally taken a beauty product for something else, but apparently Kelly Osbourne is also a member of the mistaken cosmetics brigade.

Yesterday, she twittered that she'd accidentally sprayed hairspray instead of deodorant into her armpits "again." Clearly, it's an issue she's run into before. If you've had the misfortune to mistake one beauty product for another, what did you do to make sure it didn't become a repeat performance? And have you ever had a funny case of product "mistaken identity?"

Found: A Superhold Hairspray Without the Crunch

If you like a firm-hold hairspray but don't like the crunch that often accompanies it, I think I might have the perfect product for you. If you also like big hair, voluminous ponytails, and sprays that won't knock out the person next to you on the bus due to the overwhelming fake aroma, you should also listen up. Aveda's new Control Force Firm Hold Hairspray ($26) packs a punch, because when they say force, they're not lying. The spray, which goes on full-blast, smells soft and powdery, containing notes of bergamot, vetiver, palmarosa, and lavender.

While I wish the product gave the hair a little more shine, it has a nonsticky finish and sets pretty much instantly. So far I've found that spritzing the Control Force on the ends of my short strands produces a nice wispy texture that stays put. I've also discovered that in lieu of breaking out the hair dryer in the morning, some Control Force sprayed all over my damp strands results in a pretty, nonfrizzy finish about an hour later when I arrive at work.

While I wish the price was a little bit more affordable, at least a little goes a long way with this product. Also, if you're wondering why a company that's known for environmental causes has not just one, but two aerosol hairsprays, the brand promises these products have a net-zero climate impact. Buzz In: What Musicals Do You Want to See on the Big Screen?

Did you guys hear? The screen musical is back! Well, at least according to Hugh Jackman, who kicked off his Oscar ceremony musical medley on Sunday by talking about the box office success of Mamma Mia!.

It does seem like we get a good on-screen musical every few years, between Dreamgirls and Hairspray and even Chicago a while back.

I would love to see Mr. Jackman himself singing and dancing in the movies very soon, which got me thinking about musicals that should get a big-screen adaptation while the iron is apparently hot. I think Spring Awakening would be pretty great as a movie, and there's been some buzz for a while about getting Wicked on the big screen as well.

What musicals do you think would make good movies? And do you agree with Jackman that this is a trend worth rooting for?

Reader Review of the Day: Suave 4x Mega Rave Hairspray

Back in high school I used so much Rave and Salon Selectives hair spray, I am still rather concerned about my lungs - and the ozone, for that matter. I have to admit, although the packaging and formulation are different now, my thanks go out to Barbiesugar for taking me on a drip down memory lane with her review of Suave 4x Mega Rave Hairspray, Scented ($2.89). Although it wasn't a "rave review," here's what she thought:

"I bought this product right before a wedding in Chicago. I was getting my hair done because I was a bridesmaid, but my grandma and my mother were not, so they were relying on me to do their hair. I picked this mostly for its low cost. I'm used to using 'big hair' and 'super-sticky' hair spray, but this took it to a whole new level. I really think NASA should find out what is in this product because there is some gravity-defying action in here. Needless to say, this was not the product I bargained for. Cons: tacky, no pun intended. Pros: it smelled nice."

Regardless of the haircare sponsor of any show during Fashion Week, stylists pack L'Oreal Elnett hairspray in their bags like contraband. Which it is: The stuff has been banned in the US since 1987 due to the use of ozone-damaging flourocarbon propellants. Until now, that is. With a few small tweaks to the delivery system, L'Oreal is releasing Elnett Satin next month exclusively through Target. Prices range from $6.99 for two ounces to $13.99 for 11 ounces, one variety of which includes a UV filter.
