Rarely does a perfume come along with packaging so appealing that you genuinely don't care what the juice inside smells like. Such is the case with the irrepressibly cute Harajuku Lovers Jingle G ($25), which is topped with a little Harajuku girl dressed as Santa. It's so sweet it could make a grinch's heart grow three sizes, or at the very least give the real Santa a toothache. As far as the fragrance inside goes, it has a pear musk accord that's soft and girlish - a fitting scent for packaging this twee.

Harajuku Lovers Is Getting Its Own Tweezers Now

If you're a fan of Harajuku Lovers and its adorable little dolls, here's another addition for your collection. Next month, Tweezerman will release a whole line of Harajuku products, including tiny files ($4), a compact mirror ($10), minislanted tweezers ($15), and full-sized slant tweezers ($25). Tweezerman is known for releasing designer grooming tools (it also recently did a Betsey Johnson collection, and its various patterned and themed nail care collections are legion), so it's not surprising that Gwen Stefani's much-loved brand is getting some of its own. Will you be buying these guys when they hit the shelves at (exclusively) Sephora?

Gwen Stefani's New Super G Perfume Is Nerd-dorable

In news of things both unbearably cute and beauty related, Gwen Stefani continues to roll out increasingly adorable, quirky "dolls" in her Harajuku Lovers fragrance collection. The latest limited-edition scent is Super G, which will fly into stores in August. I love all her little superheroine details, from the tie on her cape to the heart cutouts on her mask.

According to the Harajuku Lovers Facebook page, Super G is "a modern-day superhero fighting to bring super kawaii to you all the time." So what does super smell like? Very, very fruity and tropical, with notes that include pineapple, mandarin orange, freesia, banana, vanilla, and raspberry. (Sounds like a smoothie to me.) As a huge comic book dork, I'm going to have a hard time resisting this one. But what do you think? Is Super G a smell-fighter you want on your dressing table? It's no secret that Gwen Stefani is an enormous fan of Japanese culture. For her new collection of Harajuku Lovers fragrances, Wicked Style, she turned again to Harajuku, the trend-setting Tokyo neighborhood that has inspired her for years. Here, the singer-actress-designer talks about the fragrance-making process, her love of Japan, and why she says she's the same as everyone.

BellaSugar: How did you design the outfits for the fragrance bottles?
Gwen Stefani: We never thought we would get this far with doing so many of the girls. We wanted to go back to the roots of being inspired by Harajuku, the actual place. [Looking at] the different styles of Harajuku girls, we went from there. Then a lot of the stuff is from real costumes.

Gwen Stefani Has Wicked Style at Sephora

The area around Sephora in Soho was a madhouse on Fashion's Night Out, and all for one woman: Gwen Stefani. She was there to debut Wicked Style, the new Harajuku Lovers fragrance collection. Only 100 fans were allowed inside Sephora to have Gwen sign their bottles, but that didn't stop hundreds more from milling around the store entrance.

Clad in a dress from her Spring 2011 L.A.M.B. collection, Gwen made it to the front of Sephora a little past 10 p.m. Outside, people began scaling the walls for a peek, so G and her Harajuku Girls dancers stepped into the window for a quick hello. Gwen was tweeting away throughout the evening, and yes, she handles the No Doubt account herself. ("Who else would do it?" she asked.) The New Harajuku Lovers Are Sunny and Sweet

Fans of Gwen Stefani's Harajuku Lovers fragrances should love this one. After the success of her Snow Bunnies flanker dolls, Gwen's putting out five new, bikini-clad versions for next Spring. Each has a new scent that matches the personality and fragrance family of the original doll, but adds lighter, more summery notes. I'm loving their cute little belly buttons and adorable pedicures, and while I wasn't crazy about the actual fragrances the first time around, I'm willing to keep an open mind about these new scents. What do you think? Will you be running out to pick these up, or not so much?
