Has Heidi Klum Made the Perfect Lipstick?

Did you know that Victoria's Secret Beauty is one of the best-selling brands in the country? Yep. Who knew? A revamp of the line's VS Makeup means it's worth a new look, and it probably doesn't hurt that Christian Siriano and Heidi Klum are collaborating on makeup collections for the brand. Heidi's latest endeavor is a collection of makeup inspired by her travels to the spiritual city of Varanasi, India. To that end, the jewel-toned packaging is gorgeously draped in golds, pinks, and purples.

I've been playing around with some of the products, and one thing stands out above everything else: Heidi Klum Perfect Lipstick ($16) in Exotic Spice. It's pretty much the perfect versatile shade of nude pink, and the moist and creamy formula has just a hint of shine. It works for a natural, low-key look as well as a glamorous nighttime one, and it just feels nice on the lips. I'm not absolutely crazy about the chocolate scent, but your mileage may vary. Either way, this has become my go-to shade - even if I don't look like Heidi with it on.

Mrs. Seal's pregnancy glow was certainly on display as she beamed her way down the red carpet. She kept things simple, and very familiar, with a center-parted bun - sophisticated enough for evening - light pink lips, eyes, and cheeks. Do you think this look was Klum-tastic, or has she just done something similar on the red carpet too many times?

The Met's Costume Institute Gala: The Models

Last night's theme at the 2009 Costume Institute Gala was "The Model as Muse: Embodying Fashion," an exploration of how models have inspired and projected fashions throughout recent years. The Met's Costume Institute Gala: Heidi Klum

Tonight's Costume Institute Gala is all about the models as muse, so it's no surprise to see Heidi Klum amongst the first to arrive - after all, the newly pregnant TV host, designer, and sometimes singer is one of the biggest supermodels in the world. Tonight, she decided to keep her beauty look rather simple, placing the focus, instead, on her Gilles Mendel gown and complementary earrings. But just because it was simple doesn't mean it wasn't stunning. Her makeup was luminescent thanks to the pale pink lips and cheeks. Also of note was her pulled back hair. It's hard to make Klum look anything but amazing, but I'm particularly smitten tonight. Are you?

2009 Oscars: Heidi Klum

When you're wearing a red dress on the red carpet, bold red lips might make for a bit of an overdone look. Heidi Klum opts for a pink lipstick, choosing a sweep of frosty shadow to contrast with her dark mascara. Last year, she amped up the volume with a seriously bouffant updo, and this year turns it down with a sleek tucked-behind-the-ear hairstyle. Does this look deserve high marks?

2009 Golden Globe Awards: Heidi Klum

For her ensemble tonight, Project Runway hostess Heidi Klum donned an '80s-inspired dress complete with a large red rosette.

To complement her flirty frock, Klum opted for some trendy matte lipstick in a crimson hue, along with some black liner, and frosty shimmer on her inner v. The look of the night seems to be the stylish bun, and Klum's right on trend with that one, too. What do you think about Klum's look? Is it totally rad or totally bad?

Did Heidi Klum Cut Her Hair?

Same day, two very different lengths. At the grand opening celebrations for Victoria Secret's new flagship store in NYC, Heidi Klum wore her hair long and wavy for the ribbon-cutting ceremony. Later, at the cocktail reception, she sported some serious red lipstick and a trendy shoulder-length bob - aka the "lob," or long bob.Perhaps it was a little hair tucking and some pinning trickery. Or could it be possible that Klum used those ginormous bedazzled ceremony shears to chop her locks into a fashionable shoulder-grazing bob? Hmm - can't tell just yet. Regardless of how it was done, (quickie cut in-between appearances?) which look do you prefer on Klum? Are you a fan of her traditional long, model-y locks or do you like this bobbed style best?

You Can Look Like Heidi Klum! (Well, Kind Of.)

OK, so we can't all be a fabulous supermodel with a cute family and fat paycheck. But at least we can steal tidbits of Heidi Klum's style. She's just released her second signature makeup collection with Victoria's Secret, and it's more or less a seasonless, classic look. Her first makeup collection also had neutrals, but this time she's adding a touch of green.

Heidi designed the five-piece collection ($10–$22) with makeup artist Linda Hay, and the lipstick/lip gloss combo makes for one of those great, versatile color combinations. Combined with
Heidi's beauty secrets, you'll be well on your way to living like a supermodel - at least when it comes to filling your makeup bag.
