Luckily, US News reports on a new procedure called photopneumatic therapy, targeted at persistent pimples. It works by suctioning the skin to bring the acne bacteria to the surface, then beaming it with an intense pulse of light that stuns the overactive oil glands and kills the existing bacteria.
