Shopping for foundation that matches your skin tone, skin type, and preferences for finish and coverage is no easy task. Reader Mparker recently reviewed IMAN Second To None Luminous Foundation ($15), a powder that can be used both wet and dry. Here's her review:
I've found my ultimate foundation.

Three different ladies with three distinct styles come together with one big similarity – bowl bangs. As I type this, I'm getting flashbacks of hours spent trying for that perfect curl and, while it's a look I don't want to see staring back at me in the mirror, I appreciate their interpretations of the reappeared trend.Take Paris Hilton who (for once) shows the least dramatic variation. Her eyebrow-skimmers are slightly bumped under for a wispy curl, then tousled for less pronounced ends.

We already know that Iman doesn't look her age, but I'd love to know more about her makeup. Since she has her own cosmetics line, I'm assuming that's what was used to give her such a deep, dramatic eye shadow look. I'm not sure what to think about the flipped-up bangs — your thoughts?

It's a mistake to think that celebrities always have the absolute best beauty secrets. (If that were the case, they'd theoretically look flawless all of the time, which is humanly impossible.) But because they get to try so many products and work with the best experts, I always like finding out what they're using. This Telegraph story uncovers a ton of celeb-approved beauty products.

Pop quiz: Why is Iman smiling?
- A) Because she's at Glamour's Women of the Year Awards.
- B) Because she eats cookies in bed with David Bowie every night
- C) Because she's 52 years old and is still an incredible knockout
- D) All of the above
I vote for D. Joking aside, what do you think of the look she sported last night?

Last night, on the cusp of Fashion Week, model Alek Wek introduced her eponymous autobiography at a soiree. I've always thought she has a striking face with beautiful features and a lovely, deep complexion.
If your skin is as deep as Alek's, you already know that finding suitable makeup can be a challenge, to put it mildly.

Unlike her Gossip Girl character Georgina Sparks, Michelle Trachtenberg seems to have a good head on her shoulders, and she showed it off to her best advantage last night at a party hosted by American Eagle. She didn't shy away from her naturally pale skin, and her eye makeup was sexy, fun, and a little retro. This look would be perfect for your upcoming holiday parties, so to find out how to get it, just read more

Ciara arrived at the TXT L8TER event in Hollywood the other night looking like a modern-day Audrey Hepburn. I've always been in awe of her long, super-shiny hair, but I'm really coveting this new cut, which is actually — scoop! — a perfectly shaped hair piece (no worries, you can do this with your own hair, too).
