Get Gwyneth Paltrow's Iron Man Makeup Look

I'm looking forward to seeing Iron Man so much that I can't stop humming the song of the same name. The film stars Robert Downey, Jr. and Gwyneth Paltrow - who happens to be a model for Estee Lauder. Here's a sneak peek at her character in the film, along with the 411 on the makeup products that were used on set to create this classic daytime look. When you head to the theater on May 2, you'll feel like you can connect with her character Virginia "Pepper" Potts, since you'll know about everything that's been used on her skin. (At least that's how I feel.)

FACE: Start with a clean face. Then add a little bit of Double Wear Stay-in-Place Makeup ($32.50) to your face and neck and blend well with a sponge.
CHEEKS: Apply some Tender Blush in Fresh Plum ($25) to the apples of your cheeks and blend outward using circular motions to create a soft glowy effect.
EYES: Apply the lightest shade of the Signature Eyeshadow Duo in Pink Dusk ($25) all over your lid and use the darker color in the crease. Then, create a thick line your top lashes only with Artist’s Eye Pencil in SoftSmudge Black ($18.50). Finish off the look with two coats of Double Wear Mascara in Black ($19.50).
LIPS: Lightly line the rims of your lips with Estee Lauder’s Automatic Lip Pencil Duo in Fig ($23.50). Then, gently fill them in to slightly enhance the color. Using a lip brush, blend some Signature Hydra Lustre Lipstick in Plum Frost ($19.50) over the liner and finish with High Gloss in Rose ($16) for a sexy, pale purple pout.

How-To: Dominique Swain's Cutesy Curls

Wednesday night at the 2008 ESPYs Giant Event, which was hosted by Eli Manning, actress Dominique Swain arrived with a clean and polished makeup look and flirty finger curls.

This hairdo is simple to achieve and adds a great deal of style, volume, and bounce to straight or naturally wavy hair.

STEP 1: Begin by towel-drying your hair and applying a palmful of mousse. Add a tiny drop of serum to the lengths and ends and spray a heat-protecting product all over. Next, brush out snarls using a wide-toothed comb.

STEP 2: Now you're ready to dry your hair. Set your blow dryer to a medium heat setting and, using a medium round brush, dry your hair in sections. Make sure to create tension at the roots with the brush to get rid of frizz, but when you get to the lengths, twirl the brush to create more volume and loose curls. Repeat until your hair is completely dry.
STEP 3: Using a two-inch barrel curling iron, take small sections of your hair and wind it away from your face. Hold it in place for seven to 10 seconds and then let the curls go. You'll want to leave some loose strands but will curl about 75 percent of your entire head.
STEP 4: As a finishing touch, mist hair with a light hold hairspray and give your hair a couple of cool shots from your hairdryer to set the look.

Beauty Byte: Leslie Bibb Is Almay's Newest Ambassador

Almay has announced model and actress Leslie Bibb as their newest brand ambassador. You may remember this funny lady from Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, Iron Man, or even from her brief stint on Entourage.

This time, Leslie will be acting in commercials and appearing in online, in-store, and print ads. Also, I just discovered that she is going to be in the new Summer movie Confessions of a Shopaholic, which I can't wait to see. Looks like big things are happeneing for Ms. Bibb, no? Other Almay ambassadors include the lovely Elaine Irwin-Mellencamp (who kinda looks like Blake Lively, don't you think?) and model Marina Theiss. Do you think Leslie is a good fit?
