Study Proves That Bond Loves His Dark-Haired Ladies

Are you a gun-toting, long- and dark-haired lady with a penchant for danger? Then James Bond will love you. I'm still getting over the fact that there was an actual Pussy Galore character in one of the flicks in the Bond franchise. I'm also getting over the fact that researchers from Cleveland State University took the time to delve deeper into the female characteristics preferred by everyone's favorite British spy. A recent study published in the journal Sex Roles proved that of the 195 women in Bond's first 20 films, 40 percent had black hair, 19 percent were brunettes, nine percent were redheads, and 27 percent were blondes.

Their average age was 26, and not surprisingly, he was more likely to sleep with the slimmer, younger, and better-looking women of the bunch. Also, while 007 seemed to end up in sexual liaisons with the longer-haired women, the study concluded that their hair has actually gotten shorter over time. Fragrance Review: Bond Girl 007

Thinking you might want to get in on some secret spy action? Well, here's your chance. Avon's got a new James Bond-inspired fragrance called Bond Girl 007 ($30). And though smelling the hunky Daniel Craig might not be so bad, you won't have to worry about smelling like the manly 007 himself. This one's just for the ladies.

Produced in conjunction with the release of Quantum of Solace, the 22nd (whoa!) Bond flick, the bottle is shaped like the female form with a grenade-like gizmo for the cap. It's both sweet and sexy, just like the fragrance itself.

Upon initial whiff, there's an intense, pastry-like quality from the peach and orange notes. Jasmine, orchid, and freesia lend a bit of fresh, feminine qualities, while wood, amber, and patchouli round it off for a somewhat musky, deeper base.

All in all, Bond Girl 007 isn't my personal favorite, but it isn't displeasing either. If you're into sweet scents with a hint of warmth, I'd give it a shot. Bang.

Love It or Hate It? Olga Kurylenko's Braids Are Big in Japan

The latest James Bond flick is getting decent reviews and bringing in big bucks, but the publicity tour is just beginning. Olga Kurylenko, who plays Camille, headed to Tokyo for the film's Japanese premiere. Like so many of the Twilight premiere trendsetters, she wore a black hair accessory - though her four braids are likely to get more attention. What do you think of this look? Is it a much-needed red-carpet risk, or does it leave you shaken (not stirred)?

Bella Brand: Omorovicza

A few months ago, I talked to you a little about the mineral- and vitamin-enriched waters of Hungary. They are believed to obtain natural and powerful healing properties that keep skin looking young, taught, and plump. In fact, in the 14th century, Queen Elizabeth of Hungary had such beautiful skin that at the age of 60, she married a 30-year-old man (and as the story goes, he thought they were the same age - although I'm guessing he was all about flattery rather than honesty, but whatever).

I also told you about a few Hungarian beauty brands, but one in particular, called Omorovicza, has become increasingly popular and is now available in London, Ireland, and the US. Although the products from Budapest don't come cheap, after testing them out, I found them to be nothing short of miraculous.

Omorovicza was developed a little less than two years ago by an American woman and her Hungarian husband, Stephen Omorovicza. There are 16 products in the skin-care collection that range from cleansers to treatment items. Each of the products contain 22 minerals, plus Vitamin C (with no added chemicals). They have a soothing rosemary and lavender scent and prices range from $75 - $260. The peacock, the symbol also on the Omorovicza family crest is apparent on the all-white, serene packaging, and when you purchase a product, a peacock feather adorns your bag. Call it a gimmick, but what can I say, I love it.

I've heard that the brand is gaining popularity in the A-list crowd, and celebrities such as Laura Linney and Daniel Craig (James Bond) are mad about the deep cleansing mud mask. I was most impressed by the self-heating thermal cleansing balm since it's smooth, invigorating, and black in color. But then again, I'm also a sucker for all things thermal. Backstage Beauty: Rag & Bone

Backstage at Rag & Bone, celebrity makeup artist and Lancome Cosmetics Designer Gucci Westman was busy turning bare faced models into late-'60s, early-'70s era James Bond sirens. This was an especially important show for Gucci, since her husband is one of the designers of Rag & Bone! If you're interested in recreating this look at home, here's what you'll need:

Use the taupes in the Lancome Color Design Makeup Artist Palette in Stylish Neutrals and blend well on your lid.
Next, apply Lancome Artliner Liquid Eyeliner in Brown to the lash line and blur the line with your finger. Add a little more liner and blend with the Giorgio Armani Eye Contour Brush.
Then, build up your crease with the black and brown shades in the palette. Use the white shadow on the lid and brow bone to highlight and blend well. Curl your lashes with the one and only Shu Uemura Eye Lash Curler, and add two coats of Lancome Cils Design Pro Mascara as a finishing touch.
On your cheeks, lightly dust Lancome Blush Subtil in Cappucine on the high parts of your cheekbones and finish lips with a peachy nude lipstick.
