WWD reports that Kate Moss is planning to launch a line of hair care products with her long-time childhood friend and famous coiffeur—but not the late, great godfather of soul—James Brown. Brown's client list is almost as impressive as Kate's resume. He's worked on the heads of top celebs such as Sarah Jessica Parker, Gwyneth Paltrow, Gisele Bundchen and both Beckhams.

I was so excited to finally receive samples of the new James Brown London products earlier this week. James is one of Kate Moss's best friends, and he's been doing her hair for years. We've been hearing so much beauty buzz about this modernly packaged hair care collection that the suspense was killing me.

You may already know that Kate Moss is working on a new haircare line with her longtime friend and hair stylist James Brown. He's been taking care of her her hair since she was 15, and from reading about his philosophy, I can see why Kate likes him so much. Kate Moss has been at the center of the modeling world for 20 years, and we've seen her as the face of all sorts of brands, from the prestigious Gucci, Dior, and Louis Vuitton down to drugstore favorite, Rimmel. Recently, the supermodel, who admits she's "not traditionally a beauty" to WWD, has just launched Vintage ($23-$53), a fruity floriental inspired by her love of vintage fashions.

If you're in Florida this weekend, you might want to check out The Makeup Show Miami, a two-day event featuring all the makeup know-how you could imagine. I recently talked with lead makeup artist James Vincent, who created a beautiful face for the event. He has worked with celebrities including Liv Tyler and Jordin Sparks (pictured), he's created looks for designers such as Christopher Deane, and he even created his own makeup line, Pretty Pretty.

One of my favorite things to do is to watch a model's face go from nude to runway-ready, which is just what I got to do with Nars senior makeup artist James Boehmer. Erin Fetherston's collection was inspired by Juliet (of the Capulets), so James came up with a subtle, innocent face for the show.
Fresh, young, dewy skin is essential to this look.

What do you get when you put together 50 sheets of gold and silver leaf from Paris, MAC Pro Pigment in Acid Orange and a nail polish called "Fashion"? The look at Rodarte, which the designers referred to as "Beautiful Androids."
Using Aveda products, hairstylist Odile Gilbert smoothed models' hair into buns that resembled pin cushions, coated them with gobs of gel and covered them with gold (for blondes) and silver (for brunettes).
