Jennifer Love Hewitt just naturally looks sweet, I think, and she used it to her advantage tonight. She walked the red carpet with perfect princess curls and kept the fairy tale going with semisheer light pink lips and eyes that were heavy on the lashes but low on drama. Get pumped! Sunday is the broadcast of the 2009 Primetime Emmy Awards. Of course, Pop, Fab, Buzz, and I will all be on hand live-blogging the red carpet event with our love it or hate it polls. Most of the time, stars look devastatingly gorgeous for major awards shows, but other times, not so much. Let's take a look at Emmys past to see where some stars stumbled with their hair and makeup looks.

Jennifer Love Hewitt has had some ups and downs this year. After some meanies picked on her for getting "fat" - as though not being a size 0 is a crime - she went on a diet and talked about it with US Weekly.

I think she's looking great at the Emmys, and the eye makeup is absolutely regal. I'm not sure if I'd want to steal this hairstyle, but hey, I bet a lot of people love it. (Pardon the pun.) So in the spirit of being respectful to JLH, who's already dealt with enough internet snark for 2008, what do you think of this look?

Which Hair Color Do You Like Best on Jennifer Love Hewitt?

Ever since the days of Party of Five, Jennifer Love Hewitt has always held a sweet spot in my heart. She seems genuinely friendly, and I love how she's been calling people out for their unrealistic expectations on body size.

Jennifer has clear and smooth skin, but I really envy her brilliantly shiny hair. Here are a few different hair colors she's used. The one on the right was taken yesterday at the InStyle Diamond Fashion Show Preview in Beverly Hills. Which hair color do you prefer on JLH?

Beautiful Bangs for Your Face Shape, Part IV: Heart

Last but not least, it's the final installment in my beautiful bangs for your face shape series. Heart-shaped faces are suited to support lots of different bang styles since the forehead is often very high.

Again, side-swept or off-center long bangs are great for drawing attention to your eyes and cheekbones and away from your sharp chin. Also, short wispy bangs and fringe will work well on the different types of hair thickness.

Steer clear of blunt bangs if your face is very wide by the eyes and then very narrow down below. This will only make your face look longer.

A few heartthrobs with heart-shaped faces include Reese Witherspoon, Scarlett Johansson, Naomi Campbell, Victoria Beckham, Brittany Murphy and Jennifer Love Hewitt. I think that those of you with a heart-shaped faces are the luckiest of the bunch, since you have such rare bone structure.

Love It or Hate It? Jennifer Love Hewitt's Seein' Red

Boo! Booooooo! No, I'm not dissing Jennifer Love Hewitt's new red hair color, I'm ghost whispering about it. (Not funny? Well, you can't blame a girl for trying to be punny.)

I can't remember if Jennifer has ever been a redhead before, but this is a big change from her normal brunette locks. I love the auburn color at the ends of her hair, but the streaks at the crown of her head aren't as flattering as they could be. What do you think?

You may covet your favorite celeb's hairstyle, but if the 'do doesn't fit your face shape, you're likely to be disappointed. Hence, FABSUGAR's four-part series on the haircuts that best flatter your face. This week's installment: heart-shaped faces.

Use side-swept or longer bangs to draw attention to your eyes and fantastic cheekbones.
