Remember how Taylor Momsen pulled a switcheroo style about a month ago, just by changing her lipstick and fluffing up her hair? Take, for instance, Kate Hudson. At last night's Time's 100 Most Influential People soirée, the all-smiles actress wore a crisp white tuxedo-style suit. When she walked the red carpet, she donned a carefree updo, but as the night went on, she let her hair hang down. Which look do you prefer on Kate? Then tell me, are you a master of change yourself?

Kate Hudson Gets Into a Hairy Legal Situation

You know how Kate Hudson helped design a hair-care line? Well, things are getting more snarled than a day-old bouffant, because Kate's been hit with a lawsuit. E! Online reports that Kate and hair stylist David Babaii worked with 220 Laboratories, which developed a "Vanuatu Complex" for the products. But according to the lawsuit, things got hairy when the duo took the top-secret ingredient and took it to another manufacturer, which agreed to create the line for less money.

220 Laboratories admits that their deal with Kate and David was an oral agreement, not a written contract. And Kate's publicist, Brad Cafarelli, says, "Kate does not know the plaintiffs and has never met with them or spoken with them. Her representatives believe that the claims are baseless and without merit and intend to vigorously defend the lawsuit." I'm hoping that's the case - Kate just doesn't seem like the kind of ruthless person to steal someone's formula, does she?

It's a great way to get your hair off your face and neck for sports or just for a stroll during the hot Summer days.

Simply pull all of your hair back in a high ponytail. Before you loop a snag-less elastic around your hair for the second or third time (depending on how thick your hair is), do not pull hair all of the way through - only pull it halfway through. This will create a loose loop. If your hair is layered, pieces of hair should fall, as will any wisps or short bangs - which is what makes this style so relaxed.

New Product Alert: Kate Hudson and David Babaii for Wildaid

It has been nearly a year since Kate Hudson announced that she was diving into the beauty business, and only now are we able to see the fruits of her labor. Kate, with stylist David Babaii, worked to create David Babaii for Wildaid. The 10-piece line currently consists of all the usual suspects like shampoos, conditioners, and pomades - with mousse and hairspray on the way - as well as a hair dryer and flat iron. The products are all in the mid-tier price range ($11.95 to $14.95) with the styling tools on the higher end of the scale ($119.95 for both the flat iron and the hair dryer), but the good news is that part of the proceeds will benefit the Wildaid wildlife protection program. I'm sold, how about you?
