From the runways onto department and drugstore shelves, I'm sure we'll see lots of fresh new makeup options and application techniques go full circle come March. Last month in New York, we saw six very wearable trends emerge, from peach lips to bold eyeliner to heavy-handed under-the-eye liners. I am totally kvelling over this incredible travel case! Louis Vuitton has remodeled its classic vanity, the Trouville, and the result is the Vanity GM ($1,800). This gorgeous patent leather piece has a zippered closure, three inside pockets, an inside strap to secure bottles, a four-facet mirror and is embossed with monochromatic LV monograms throughout.

Milla Jovovich has such a effortlessly chic style. The model, designer, actress, and musician has this enviable knack for taking classic hair and makeup looks, turning them into modern interpretations with a bit of an edge.
It's Fashion Week in Paris, and at the Louis Vuitton show, Milla's pop-of-pink lip color, paired with the faintest hint of gold eye shadow, were uncomplicated, yet stunning.

Paris Fashion Week has come to a close, but its styles are likely to inspire for many months to come. While some styles are definitely for show — check out Louis Vuitton's dramatic look here, for instance — others are refreshingly easy to re-create at home. More than a few designers opted for simple, low-key looks that make the most of what you've already got.

And so, Paris Fashion Week comes to a close. Chanel, Dior, Louis Vuitton, Alexander McQueen — OK, especially McQueen — all showed their visions for Fall 2009. Since Parisian shows tend to be more over-the-top and wildly creative than their New York counterparts, there's plenty to see here.
