The makeup collection will focus on re-creating Carine's signature smoky eye look. There will also be products to help you achieve her go-to bold brows and neutral-toned lips. In terms of product names and packaging, Carine had a say in it all, so you can expect this project to be fully fashion forward.

The list of celebrity-backed MAC makeup lines continues to grow; already on the roll are Beth Ditto, Miss Piggy, and Lady Gaga. This announcement follows all the buzz about Carine's new fashion magazine, CR Fashion Book, out this September. Good thing strong brows and natural makeup are on trend from the Fall 2012 runways: Carine Roitfeld and MAC will fit right in. Look for the new buys available in stores this Fall.

WWD reports that Beth's limited-edition collection is expected to hit MAC counters come June. The first image from her campaign has just been released, and if the shades on display are any indication, we're in for bold, bright colors and lots of matte textures. We're most excited about the possibility of cool nail polishes, though - Beth's pink, yellow, and black manicure above looks both cutting edge and surprisingly wearable.
