Hairstylist Moulay Yacoubi of the Pierre Michel Salon in NYC, has styled the locks of celebrities like Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Aniston, and Elizabeth Hurley; and when it comes to what's hot now, Yacoubi knows his stuff. Recently, I had the chance to chat with the stylist regarding trendy styles, but more importantly, he emphasized, "People should be aware, [and ask] 'Am I going to look good with that haircut?'" Check out his tips for what's sexy now, without sacrificing the most flattering cut for your face shape, personality, and lifestyle.

Back in 1919, famed makeup artist Max Factor invented false eyelashes to enhance the dramatic performances of leading Hollywood starlets. Since then, there's been a bevy of lashes from which to choose, with Shu Uemura leading the industry in the most fashion-forward styles. (Even I've gotten in on the action.) These "lotsa lashes" looks are always quite memorable.

Queen Madge isn't one to be off trend, and tonight was no exception. I love her pulled-back pouf — it reminds me of Catherine Deneuve's hair in The Umbrellas of Cherbourg. Unlike a lot of red carpet denizens, though, she kept her eyes sexy, with a classic Cleopatra line past the outer edges.

Madonna is in the last weeks of her sold-out Sticky and Sweet tour, and after seeing her dance around the stage, all I have to say is, 50 seems like a lot of fun — and it looks pretty good, too. M's makeup artist, Gina Brooke, showed us how to get the tour makeup look earlier this fall, and now hair stylist Andy LeCompte shares the scoop on Madonna's sexy, wavy hair.
Work with your natural texture.

Don't call it a comeback — waves have been here for years, but this time around in a more individualized way. Rihanna opts for a bouffant 'do paired with sultry cool-toned makeup. Madonna and Lindsay Price go for retro all the way.

Last night at Madonna's directorial premiere of Filth and Wisdom, there was quite a similarity between two sexy ladies, namely the material girl herself and red-headed starlet Lindsay Lohan. Am I sensing a trend with these very distinct "undulating waves," as they are known in the hair biz? So tell me, who rode the hair wave best in this battle of the curly girlies?

Love her or hate her — and if you're like me, it's "love her" all the way — Madonna remains at the top of her game. And after dozens of distinctive looks throughout the years, she continues to set trends on her Sticky and Sweet tour. The North American leg kicks off this weekend, so as a little preview of what's to come, I've scored the makeup details from her longtime makeup artist, Shu Uemura Artistic Director Gina Brooke.

At last night's premiere of her husband's new film, RocknRolla, I was mesmerized by Madonna's wide-eyed, winged eye makeup. It's not an everyday look, but it really amped up M's style. To learn how to do the multitalented songstress's makeup, check out my instructions below:
- FACE Start off with a foundation with semimatte coverage (such as Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse Foundation [$9.49]).

Hard to believe that Madonna turns 50 tomorrow, isn't it? She's the quintessential Leo, with all of the leader-of-the-pack traits of that sign.
If you want to dance down memory lane, check out her chameleon-like style and don't miss my interview with her makeup artist.
