TGIF! It's been a long week over here and these adorable pics of Maggie totally sum up how I am feeling right now! Even though I'm fairly certain I'd opt for my bed over my laundry basket, it would be a surprise start chores to find her posing with those stick-straight legs during a hamper naptime. When awake, she's spunky and stubborn, but, unsurprisingly, emmy528 says the pup's fave activities include napping and cuddling. . . . Who could resist a snuggle with this sleepy lass? Sweet dreams, Maggie, maybe you'll convince mom to give you a special congratulatory snack when you wake up!

Starlets are not only taking fashion risks this year, they are also taking risks with their hair. Updo's were extremely popular this year on the red carpet, and these gals used their coif as an opportunity to add style and an extra accessory to their look.

Here are three jazzy hair accessories on: Maggie Gyllenhaal (she wore a feather hair clip), Katie Holmes (she wore a beaded headpiece) and Penelope Cruz (she attached a faux braid). I think they look great, what do you think?

Blake Heads to Brooklyn to Celebrate Theater With Peter and Maggie

Blake Lively broke from shooting the final episodes of this season for Gossip Girl and threw on a trench coat for a night out in Brooklyn yesterday. She joined theater-lovers Maggie Gyllenhaal and Peter Sarsgaard, who live in the borough and are currently starring in Checkhov's Three Sisters, at the Brooklyn Academy of Music's 2011 Gala. The actors gathered along with Claire Danes, Hugh Dancy, and Hugh Jackman to celebrate Geoffrey Rush, the current star of BAM's Diary of a Madman production. Geoffrey is also coming off an incredible award season, having been nominated for an Oscar for his role in The King's Speech. Blake, meanwhile, is getting used to being back in the US after a trip away to Paris, where she was fêted once again for being the new face of Chanel's Mademoiselle handbags - check out some behind-the-scenes shots from her shoot with Karl Lagerfeld.

Lock-Out Trailer: "Loose Cannon" Guy Pearce Goes to Space

For the worst criminals in the world, a maximum-security prison on this planet will no longer suffice. In Lock-Out, the worst of the worst get to go to space. For some reason, the president's daughter is on a "goodwill mission" at the place where the most dangerous dudes in the world serve their time. During her stay, the inmates have an uprising, and there's one guy in the world who can stop them. The gorgeous Guy Pearce plays the bad boy Snow who is (and I quote) "the best there is - but he's a loose cannon."

My first impressions when I saw that Lock-Out trailer? It's a high-tech Con Air in space: the inmates take over, and they're doomed to have an epic crash down to Earth. However, the movie does have the same producers as Liam Neeson's thriller Taken, which proved to be a decent film. In the same vein, the actress who played Neeson's kidnapped daughter in the film, Maggie Grace, plays the president's daughter in Lock-Out - looks like she's got the damsel-in-distress gig down pat. See if you think Pearce and Grace have got this film locked down when you check out the trailer.

Know Your Ingredients: Maggi Seasoning

For years, I'd heard bits and pieces about a flavoring agent called Maggi Seasoning, but it wasn't until recently that I had a chance to see how it's put to use. You may not be familiar with the ingredient itself, but this dark, vegetable protein-based liquid is used to add oomph to scores of popular products worldwide.

Maggi (pronounced "maggie") looks a whole lot like soy sauce, but it's, in fact, not an Asian sauce at all: the sauce, now owned by Nestle, was invented in 1886 in, of all places, Switzerland, where it was originally used as a substitute for meat extract. Today, the European pantry staple is popular not only in Europe, but has also turned up in corners of the world like Mexico, Malaysia, and Brunei.

The formula, which consists of wheat gluten, water, salt, and wheat bran (among other things) is highly seasoned and therefore used sparingly, but it's commonly used to add a boost of flavor to everything from gravies and salad dressings to matzo balls and bánh mì.
