Designer and Project Runway judge Michael Kors is getting pretty with a new color cosmetics collection that's due in January. The makeup line, which was created in collaboration with Estée Lauder, is part of the Very Hollywood brand and is designed to be the makeup equivalent of Michael's recently released perfume. The collection comes in two palettes, a pink and a beige-coral, with complementary blushes, sheer lip "sheens," and eyeshadow kits for each.

It was the final day of Fashion Week, and while I'm sad to see it go, I'm excited to discover how many of these hair and makeup looks will make the transition into the mainstream. These final two days were absolutely lovely, with more old-guard designers like Michael Kors, Calvin Klein, and Oscar De La Renta injecting an elegance that nicely hedged the experimental looks from younger designers. Click through and see what some of the most established houses, along with some of the hottest new ones, had to offer.

When I was little, I was absolutely obsessed with those cheapy clear plastic rings full of glittery, gooey lip gloss in what I now realize were totally gross artificial flavors. As my ability to judge product quality has improved, though, my nostalgia for those little rings hasn't left me. Feeling sentimental the other day, I Googled "lip gloss rings," only to find that there are, in fact, a whole bunch of high-end, very pretty versions that are totally appropriate for grown-up ladies.

These ads for Very Hollywood ($45), the new Michael Kors fragrance, are up all over the place, looking glitzy and sexy. But what does it actually smell like, you ask? The short answer: sweet, floral, and a little bit like Marc Jacobs.

He's taken us to Fiji, Hawaii, and Capri in the past. And now, designer Michael Kors has a new destination in mind with the release of his latest scent, Island Michael Kors Bermuda.
Inspired by the pink beaches of Bermuda, the new collection comprises a trio of beach-themed products, including: Eau de Parfum Spray ($62), Moisturizing Body Lotion ($28) and a Lip Gloss ($12) — in a light pink shade, of course.

From first glance, what appears to look like a stick of designer deodorant, is actually a body bronzer. Underneath the rubbery beige cap of Michael Kors Leg Shine — Classic ($32) lies a smooth (almost oily), deep-amber bronzer that contains flecks of gold. Not only will it create a glowing tan on your legs, knees, arms, and chest, but it also has another function: Leg shine contains a captivating floral smell (Michael Kors Eau de Toilette) that takes the place of having to wear actual perfume.

Can't afford a journey to the tropics this season? That's OK, you can take an olfactory tour with Michael Kors to three jet-setting destinations: Hawaii, Capri, and Fiji. Last March I told you all about Hawaii, and in December I dished about the decadence of eau de Capri.

The latest from Michael Kors Beauty, is an eau de parfum called Island Capri. The fragrance is made with notes of orange bigarade, bergamot, rose, violet de Parma, dark fig, olive tree accord, jasmine, green basil, cypress, and white moss. It's a soft scent that at first spray is clearly very feminine and sensual.

Fab and I are split on the Michael Kors show. Now, Fab is the biggest Kors fan I know, so she loved his spring clothing collection. While I appreciated the Palm Beach makeup he was doing, I genuinely can't decide if the sunset-inspired eye shadow colors are gorgeously glam or a little bit too Golden Girls.
