I love metallic nails for summer, especially when they're in warm gold tones. This Shu Uemura nail polish ($16) is shimmery but not gaudy-just the way Fort Knox feet should be! i
Sun can damage hair by drying it out. That's why I'm planning to have some of these Ted Gibson hair sheets ($25) ready. You just swipe them over hair and they do their magic restorative thing. Couldn't be easier.
Bobbi Brown's Sandbar soap smells just like the beach, so even if you're miles away from the shoreline, you can pretend you're there.
Will I be wearing 50+ SPF? You bet. La Roche-Posay's Anthelios ($39 and up) is a great non-greasy formula. Pricey, yes, but sunscreen is the best anti-aging product that exists. And I know it's worth the cost every time I get carded.
Summer is the best time for a sheer, sparkly lip. I've got to try Buxom Lips ($18) from Bare Escentuals. It's a high-shine cooling gloss in light, girly, sherbet colors.

October, for me, is all about excitement, fantasy, and having a great time with the new trends. This month, the must haves are all gorgeous, wildly fun, and designed to make you as excited about the month as I am. Also for you to remember: October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, although self-testing and making sure that your loved ones get regular testing should be something you do year-round. The angled bob, as shown on Jenny McCarthy, is a chic, of-the-moment 'do that flatters many face shapes. It's so easy to wear, and it's surprisingly easy to maintain.
Plum nail polish is great for this transition from summer to fall. Darker shades will be huge this fall, but if you're looking for a way to ease into it, try Maybelline Salon Expert. I love the shade Bitten Plum, and it can be yours for less than five bucks.
Coco Mademoiselle is going to be everywhere, thanks to a push from Chanel. Fortunately, it's a lovely scent that I've recently rediscovered. Expect to smell a lot more of it...
Bare Escentuals lipcolor in Rose Crepe ($15) is a limited-edition shade exclusive to Sephora. It's a soft rose color that's a stronger than your naked lip color, but not so intense that it shouts out at people. It's also a natural choice: it has no artificial dyes and is colored with minerals.
Too Faced has a limited-edition color palette ($28) that was devised with fashion brand Miss Sixty. What better way to celebrate Fashion Week? Plus, for those of you who caught Molly talking about PopSugar on CNN, I've got a secret for you: This is the palette that we used to make her camera-ready. It's Pop-, Fab-, and Bella-approved!
Ted Gibson Goodnite isn't necessarily a must-have. Considering its $200 price tag, it's really a "wish-I-could-have." It's a luxurious serum that moisturizes dry, damaged hair and balances both dry and oily scalps. If I win the lottery, I'm going to try it out.

December Must-Haves

Even though stores are filled with people seeking gifts for friends and family, let's be realistic: Most people pick up a little something for themselves, too. And why not? It's been a long year, and a bit of pampering won't hurt.

For this month's must-haves, I've found items that will help you primp and prepare for end-of-year festivities-along with a few that'll help you decompress from the stress of the holidays. To see my picks, read more

If there's any time to have shiny, shimmering hair, it's in December. I'm planning to pick up Fekkai Sparkling Shimmer Spray ($13.50), a mist that has microscopic diamond crystals to lend a subtle golden glimmer to your hair. Paired with good tools like this T3 mini flat iron ($119), it would provide a professional-quality hairstyle for New Year's and beyond.
Urban Decay's holiday kit is worth considering. Midnight Cowboy Rides Again ($32) is spot-on with the metallic trend. It includes a golden, shimmery beige eye shadow, Eyeshadow Primer Potion (so your color will stay put), an eye pencil in a deep coppery shade, and glittery gold eyeliner. Worn all at once, these items would be too much. But adding just one item to your regular look will be a gild-y pleasure.
If you're visiting family during the holiday season, you'll need portable, flight-friendly body care supplies. You may also need to de-stress. (Just sayin'.) This gorgeous Red Flower Hammam Set ($56) lets you do both. It contains travel sizes of these 100% natural goodies: Moroccan mint tea silt purifier, lemon coffee blossom olive stone scrub, jasmine rose rhassoul clay polish, orange quince steam room mist, cardamom amber oil, tangerine fig butter cream. Just reading about them makes me want to relax and unwind with a cup of tea.
Bonne Belle Smackers ($2.95) are a favorite from my childhood, and since 'tis the season for chapped lips, I figure it can't hurt to have a few extra lip balms on hand. I'm a fan of the Dr. Pepper flavor, which takes me way back to junior high.
