For Halloween, I was supposed to be the crafty prom dress-sewing Molly Ringwald from Pretty in PInk, but plans fell through. Although I was kinda bummed, at least I'm all set for Halloween 2009, right? When I was browsing for the perfect shade of lipstick to complete my '80s ensemble, I also didn't want to break the bank in the process.

Finally, a bit of British holiday in the heart of New York City! Heidi Klein started in London in 2002 with a vacation-centric store. The founders, Heidi Gosman and Penny Klein both appreciated how difficult it was to shop for holiday essentials and a well fitting swim suit.

Someone get me Halle Berry's phone number, because I want to know all of her fountain-of-youth secrets. At the Keep a Child Alive Black Ball in NYC, she had heads turning to get a glimpse of her in that super-sexy cutout cocktail dress. I love how her mismatched earrings play off of her short, tousled pixie cut, and the warm brown and salmon-pink tones of her makeup create a glowing effect.

The other day, after it was revealed that Abercrombie & Fitch spent more than $3 million on pumping one of their colognes, Fierce, through their stores, many of you wrote in to say how little you loved the scent being wafted through A&F. And now, the New York Post is reporting that a new NYC Hollister store at the corner of Houston and Broadway is being protested by people made miserable by fragrance being pumped from the store out onto the street. A similar situation occurred with a Diane Von Furstenberg store last July, and it seems that instances of people getting angry about, and sick from, the overuse of scent machines just keep getting more frequent.

Here's a makeup look that would be absolutely stunning for a night out on the town — or even for the office, when applied with less heavy-handed strokes. The bright, flowery-pink lip looks refreshing and fun when paired with subtle eye color and blushing cheeks, and I've got the how-to directly from Dior Global Makeup Advisor Shane Paish, who created this pretty, polished look for Charlize Theron. The actress recently wore this flattering palette of colors at the premiere of Burning Plain in NYC, and if you're looking for something a little fun and slightly daring, why not give this one a try?

It's 2010 Spring Fashion Week, and one of the first designers to show her collection was L.A.M.B.'s Gwen Stefani. For her show, the models wore MAC makeup on their faces, Vaseline's soon-to-be-released Sheer Infusion Body Lotion ($6.25 to $9) on their skin, and a trendy, opaque white shade of nail polish from Dashing Diva called NYC Fleet Week ($8). Lucky for us, Pop caught up with Gwen in NYC and asked her about her popular Harajuku Lovers line, for which Snow Bunnies ($30) just launched.

Leave it to an alumna of The Hills to sport at least one braid in her hairstyle. This time, instead of the side-plait that we couldn't seem to get enough of, it's all about the pulled-back, headband-esque braid. As for her makeup, she chooses super pale tangerine lips and gold shadow on the inner v's.
