Pretty pastel nail polishes are a fun way to lighten up any warm-weather beauty look. Pale pinks, sage greens, sunny yellows and light lavenders are beautiful shades to complement a special sundress or handbag. (And if you're still stuck with winter, they're a nice way to bring Spring to you early.) The colors come in an array of opaque formulas for you fearless femmes, as well as sheer versions for those of you who are still a little bit gun-shy.

Yesterday, Marc Jacobs put on one of the biggest fashion shows of the season. (FabSugar has plenty to say about the new collection of clothing.) The front row was packed with stars sporting makeup trends including pastel eye shadow and perfect skin (check out Mischa Barton and Carmen Electra on Pop). Out of Padma Lakshmi, Courtney Love and Posh, whose pastel shadow do you like best?

When it comes to applying your makeup, what area do you find to be the trickiest? If you're like me, it's all about the eye area. While I love trying trendy shades and techniques, sometimes I just want a quick and easy routine.

Lauren may have retired from The Hills, but she's certainly still a presence on the red carpet. For the VMAs, she ditched her extensions and went with a 1930s-inspired style held back with a sweet hair clip. Her makeup was all whisper pinks, from eyes to cheeks and lips.

It's that time of the year again, as kids — and adults alike — head back to school. That means it's also time for the launches of Fall 2009 makeup collections. Using the artistic medium of mosaics for inspiration, Shiseido's artistic director, Dick Page, created the Mosaic collection for the upcoming change of season.
