Confession time! I've got a girl crush on Rachel McAdams. It's not just because she frequently changes her lip color and her hair color and always manages to look amazing, but she's also got the kind of deep soul that you can see in her eyes. She's sweet but not sugary-sweet, and as we saw in Wedding Crashers, she's pretty damn funny too.

Rachel has been out of the public eye for a while, so I am happy to see her out and about again-and boy, does she look great. Yesterday she was at the Toronto Film Festival promoting her new movie Married Life with flawless skin and red lipstick, a change from her raspberry lips and the sheer color she sported at the SAG Awards. One Star, 3 Makeup Looks: Rachel McAdams at Cannes

There's no denying Rachel McAdams has been looking as beautiful as ever during her various 2011 Cannes Film Festival appearances. Good, clean living plays a part (as well as some enviable genetics), but it's also thanks to the work of her talented makeup artist (and sister), Kayleen McAdams. Learn how Kayleen created three of Rachel's Cannes red-carpet looks below:

"For the Midnight in Paris photo call, the dress was very youthful and fun. We knew we were focusing on the eyes and skin for the premiere [later that day], so we chose to do a bright fun lip," said Kayleen.

Eyes: Kayleen applied Nars Duo Eye Shadow in Silk Road (a palette of pink and rose-gold shades) to Rachel's eyes and topped off her lashes with CoverGirl LashBlast Fusion in Very Black.
Cheeks and lips: Nars Blush in Mata Hari gave a bright, rosy cheek, and Stila Convertible Color in Fuchsia provided the finishing touch.

Rachel McAdams and Michael Sheen Couple Up For a Big Apple Screening

Rachel McAdams and her Midnight in Paris costars wrapped up their visit to the Cannes Film Festival and headed back to NYC, where they attended a Cinema Society-sponsored screening of the upcoming Woody Allen comedy at the Soho Grand. Woody was there to pose for photos with Rachel, as was her real-life leading man Michael Sheen. Many of their other cast members were in France, but it seems Owen Wilson, Adrien Brody, and Léa Seydoux sat out the latest press event. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, along with Sofia Coppola and Rachel Roy, did come out to see the movie. Rachel, though, was happy to smile for photographers in a long, white Louis Vuitton gown, but she changed into a black jumpsuit for the afterparty also held in the hotel. Rachel McAdams and Michael Sheen were among the cutest couples at Cannes while promoting their own project and checking out the debut of Sleeping Beauty. Their travels on behalf of the big-screen endeavor will wrap up when it arrives in theaters Friday, but hopefully there's lots more of Rachel and Michael's adorable PDA to come.

Hockey fan Rachel McAdams scored a prized seat right behind the glass for last night's Stanley Cup Finals in Boston. She and her family watched the action on the ice as the Bruins hosted the Canadian Canucks. The hometown team went on to win the game and tie the series 2-2, but that didn't diminish Ontario native Rachel's enthusiasm for cheering on her countrymen - Rachel was featured at least six times dancing on the JumboTron, which some of the other spectators jokingly renamed the "Rachel McAdams Cam." Rachel can currently be seen on another type of screen since Midnight in Paris arrived in theaters late last month. The first trailer for The Vow, her next movie, was also just released, and it shows Rachel as a character trying to regain memories of her marriage to a man played by Channing Tatum.

Rachel McAdams stepped out solo yesterday to pick up groceries at Whole Foods in Santa Monica. She's had a busy month and it all culminates tomorrow with the release of The Vow. Rachel wore a strapless Vivienne Westwood dress to Monday night's LA premiere, where she met up with her onscreen leading man Channing Tatum. Rachel's real-life love Michael Sheen skipped the event, though he recently shared a romantic lunch date with Rachel. Michael and Rachel have been going strong since first striking up a connection while filming Midnight in Paris. The Woody Allen-directed film is nominated for best picture at the Oscars, and we'd love to see Michael and Rachel together at the Feb. 26 ceremony.

Rachel McAdams had her cash in hand Tuesday to grab takeout in LA. She was rolling solo for the food run despite being in California with her boyfriend. Rachel McAdams and Michael Sheen were spotted together over the weekend, when they shopped and strolled around the Los Feliz neighborhood. Rachel and Michael are enjoying some low-key time together on the West Coast, but she looked chic wearing a pair of Stuart Weitzman wedge sandals that Jennifer Aniston also has. She and Michael have been going strong for nearly a year, since meeting on the French set of Midnight in Paris last Summer. They've started promoting the Woody Allen-directed film, which is out in limited release in the US on May 20. Conversation for Michael, naturally, turned toward Breaking Dawn at the recent junket. Michael described how the epic fight scene in the last Twilight films will be even more intense than in the books. He said, "Oh this is very amped up, yeah. This is, I think we spent something like four or five weeks shooting that scene and it takes up a big chunk of the movie. And it's got extraordinary things going on in it, so it certainly won't be anticlimactic."

Twelve-year-old Lily is Michael's daughter with ex Kate Beckinsale, and Lily seemed familiar with Rachel as they walked between shops and chatted together. Michael and Rachel, who's on the cover of June's Elle, were in California for the last couple of weeks promoting their movie Midnight in Paris, which actually brought them together as a couple last Summer during the shoot in Europe. There were enough breaks from interviewing for Rachel to run errands and pick up takeout, even sparking rumors that she and Michael are engaged by debuting a new diamond ring. Her rep, though, has since denied those stories. Rachel headed back to France today, as she's prepping to debut the film during the Cannes Film Festival. This year's cinema event is going to be even more star-studded than usual, with Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Penelope Cruz, and Johnny Depp also bound for a few days on the Mediterranean!
