Doing Drugstore: Revlon Brow Specialist Kit

Oct 9 2009 - 10:00am Last week, I met up with eyebrow guru Anastasia Soare, and ever since then, I've been paying extra special attention to the brow area — or lack thereof. More tips from Anastasia to come, but in the meantime, after passing by this Revlon Brow Specialist Kit ($9) at Walgreens over the weekend, I couldn't resist. My makeup area at home is getting a little cluttered these days, so anything that is compact, compartmentalized, and brow-related captures my attention.

I almost never pluck my eyebrows except for when a stray hair grows below my natural brow. My eyebrows are a light ash blonde and you can't really see them unless you are close to me so I see no point to plucking.

I dyed my hair a gorgeous light brown with honey highlights for my wedding but forgot to pencil some color in my eyebrows. In every wedding photo it looks like I have no eyebrows at all! I really need to get in the habit of penciling some color in but everything seems too brown. I'll have to check out the Anastasia line to see if they have pencils for blondes.
