Round faces like Kirsten Dunst's tend to be petite, so blush can look like an all-over wash of color instead of a natural flush if you don't have the correct application techniques. My friend Joselyn swears by these steps for the perfect blush:
Use a fan brush, which is great for accurate application on smaller faces, to apply blush in a boomerang shape, with the tips right under the outer corners of your eyes and the fullest part of the arc under the inner corners of your eyes.
Continue using the fan brush to fill in the boomerang.
Use a medium-sized brush to blend your blush, making sure not to sweep the color any lower than the bottom of your cheekbones and no further out than the ends of your eyebrows.
Apply a touch of blush along your upper temples and to the center of your chin to give your face a little more definition.

Heart-y girls who want their best brows now need only read more.

Even though the warmest season of the year is officially over in just a few days, that doesn't mean we can't still talk about sunglasses, right? I'd venture to say that even though the temperatures may dip, the majority of us wear sunglasses year-round, depending on how much the sun decides to shine. If you're like me, you probably put your sunglasses on your head, but this can cause some major styling hassles: hair caught in the hinges, dents in your hair, frizz, etc.

Ciara arrived at the TXT L8TER event in Hollywood the other night looking like a modern-day Audrey Hepburn. I've always been in awe of her long, super-shiny hair, but I'm really coveting this new cut, which is actually — scoop! — a perfectly shaped hair piece (no worries, you can do this with your own hair, too).

A widow's peak is a dominantly inherited v-shape that dips down along the hairline. Perhaps one of my best friend's most enduring features is her widow's peak, which lends even more character to her friendly disposition. Do you know anyone with this distinctively cool feature?

Paris is my favorite place in the world. Delicious food, wonderful cafes, dreamy Frenchmen, and an inimitable sense of style make it the city I return to as often as finances permit. Thanks to a super-cheap round-trip ticket, I had a nice sojourn there last week.

Kate Spicer was pushing 40, and like so many women, she wasn't crazy about her appearance. So she did a little gonzo journalism by diving into the world of cosmetic treatments for an upcoming BBC America documentary called Super Botox Me. After a bull semen hair treatment in London, she jets off to the United States for a beauty prescription of Botox, Restylane, Fraxel, and more.
