Whose SATC Premiere Makeup Look Did You Like the Best?

Last night, the cast of Sex and the City arrived at Radio City Music Hall for their much-anticipated premiere. The girls lit up the city wearing metallic dresses (well, all but Cynthia Nixon) and fabulous hair and makeup. I especially love the bronzer on Kristin Davis because it's something we never saw much of on the show. SJP's eyes are a sexy, smoky slate grey (word on the street is that Dior did her makeup). Cynthia Nixon and Kim Cattrall chose a more minimalist look, but looked lovely as ever. All of the ladies beamed from the inside out, but whose makeup look did you think was the prettiest on the sparkling pink carpet?

We are so thrilled to announce that Sugar user carriefrances will be joining us tomorrow night at the Sugar exclusive screening of Sex and the City! The longtime user is a HUGE SATC fan, and we could not be more excited to meet her and shower her with gifts and a fabulous party among friends.

We also know that the characters in the TV show liked to take fashion and beauty risks, and with those risks came some - as we at Sugar like to call them - iconic missteps. Beauty Products Inspired by Sex and the City

Can't wait for the movie premiere? These lipsticks and nail polishes have the same names as the main characters on Sex and the City.

Stila Lip Color in Miranda is a creamy, shiny coral lipstick; it was so popular in 2007, it won In Style's Best of Beauty Buys. Cargo PlantLove Lipstick in Sam ($20) is a deep red lipstick that exudes sexiness and confidence, just like powerhouse Samantha Jones - and Stila SPF 20 Shine Lip Color in Charlotte ($22) is a sheer orange shade with the shine of a gloss and the creaminess of a lipstick.

Sarah Jessica Parker and famed manicurist Deborah Lippmann collaborated to create a soft, cotton-candy pink nail lacquer called Sarah Smile ($15) during the heyday success of the sitcom, and Duri Cosmetics recently released a bluish-red, nail polish in Sex in the City ($5). I'm not a fan of heavy or bright eye shadow.

I've been known to wear gold or bronze glitter from time to time.

I'll try anything at least once, but I prefer a clean, black-lined eye.

How often do you change your hairstyle?

Frequently. I'll go long to short and then get extensions if I miss my hair.

Not very often, I love my hair.

I usually wear it straight, but sometimes I'll curl it or wear it back.

I keep my hair short. It's easier to manage that way.

What are your thoughts on breast-lifting creams?

I'd try them, why not?

Do those really work? I don't think I'd try them.

I love them - I've got a cabinet full of different brands.

I've got one, but I don't think it does much.

Do you wear a lot of shimmery makeup?

Yes, bring it on, sister!

Shimmer is great as long as you choose one area to accentuate at a time.

I like a shimmery blush or an eye shadow but I'm not into shimmery lips.

I'm not a big fan of shimmer. I'll occasionally wear it on the eyes, but that's it.

Would you ever pencil in a beauty mark?

Absolutely, beauty marks are glamorous!

Sure, why not?

I'd do it on Halloween.

SJP Talks About Her New Scent and What Carrie Would Wear

After the success of Lovely and Covet, is it any surprise that Sarah Jessica Parker is working on another fragrance? The funny thing is, the first one almost didn't happen. In his book The Perfect Scent, journalist Chandler Burr reveals that many fragrance houses declined Sarah Jessica's perfume pitch. Coty, of course, said yes - and has enjoyed millions of dollars in sales because of that decision.

There hasn't been any official buzz on SJP's next scent, but during a recent press event to promote Sex and the City, she revealed what perfume she's been wearing. "It’s a genderless one I have been working on for about six months," she explained. "I wore this a lot when I was shooting the movie."

We know that Sarah Jessica is a fan of unconventional fragrance, but what about Carrie? "I always think that Carrie actually wouldn’t wear a fragrance, since I feel like if I walk out without wearing fragrance, it's my version of being completely nude," Sarah Jessica said. "Like, I would feel nude - which as you all know, I never am! So I don’t really think Carrie is necessarily a fragrance person. I don’t know, I’ve never seen it on her counter. I’ve never seen it in set dressing. And as much as I would have liked to have seen Lovely or Covet on her bureau, even I wouldn’t do that."

I've always thought of Carrie as someone who would wear something earthy and masculine, like Kiehl's Original Musk. Definitely nothing too fruity or flowery - since Carrie had those things covered with her wild wardrobe.
