Hairstylist Moulay Yacoubi of the Pierre Michel Salon in NYC, has styled the locks of celebrities like Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Aniston, and Elizabeth Hurley; and when it comes to what's hot now, Yacoubi knows his stuff. Recently, I had the chance to chat with the stylist regarding trendy styles, but more importantly, he emphasized, "People should be aware, [and ask] 'Am I going to look good with that haircut?'" Trend Alert: Is the Mullet Having a Moment?

I have a strange affinity for the mullet. It may be all "business in the front, party in the back," but when styled just right, this oft-mocked hairstyle can actually have a fresh, chic appearance. And during some recent red carpet events, this shaggy cut was out in full force: Sharon Stone wore her signature short locks in a side-swept mullet-like fashion at the amfAR benefit; Taraji P. Henson, who gained much recognition for The Curious Case of Benjamin Button sported a shorter, wispier style than from her versatile bob; and Taylor Momsen of Gossip Girl fame, rocked her bold blond mane at a CW network event in NYC. Would you be OK with the mullet making a return, or would you like to see it stay in the past?

Sharon Stone was just in Rome for a film festival, and like so many other celebs as of late, she chose a bold red lip. I'm a firm believer that there's a red lip for everyone, and this one suits her well. Her brows are pretty bold, but really, what about Sharon isn't? Hard to believe she's almost 50, isn't it?
