Is there anything more unnecessarily luxurious than a shaving brush adorned with Swarovski crystals? Maybe not, but it's still pretty glamorous. This handmade Whish brush ($105, $180) comes in 19 color options and is the girliest shaving implement I've ever seen.

Well looky here, it's another pre-holiday discount! MAC is shaving 25% off most of its holiday makeup on top of offering free shipping. It's a doubly good discount because these limited-edition collections were already providing some good deals.

If you're required to travel light anytime soon, check out the travel toiletries from Travelon, which come as paper thin, single-use sheets packed into colored plastic containers (think Listerine Pocket Pals). The sheets of hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, shaving cream, body wash and laundry detergent—all biodegradable and, of course, TSA-compliant—come in packs of 50, and will never spill in your shoes.
My favorite discovery was the ultimate travel toothbrush: Travelon's has a built-in reserve for toothpaste that you twist a knob to release onto the brush, like YSL's famed Touche Eclat, but for teeth.

Badger hair has the firmest bristles, which makes it ideal for eyebrow brushes, fan brushes, bronzer brushes and for grooming. Badger hair typically comes from China and is similar to sable hair in the sense that it has a thicker middle and a thin top, tapering out into a conical shape.
High-quality badger hair has a light and dark brown color, while lower-quality badger hair is gray and is commonly found in shaving brushes.

Common products used in the shower: shampoo, conditioner, some kind of soap, shaving cream, face wash and toothpaste!? You see, several weeks ago at a dinner party, the majority of the guys in attendance admitted to scrubbing not only their bodies — but their teeth — while showering. It got me to thinking that maybe doing a little multitasking in my morning routine might not be that bad of an idea.

Even though you and I won't be at the Oscars this weekend, it never hurts to know how to look red-carpet ready. I recently had the chance to chat with the gorgeous Heidi Klum and her team of professionals, including Victoria’s Secret makeup artist Linda Hay, and was able to pick up some great tips and tricks for looking your best at a glamorous event. Heidi also dished about what's in her handbag on the big night and how to photograph like a supermodel, so read on.

I've been looking at DiorSkin Airflash for a few months, but I wanted to play around with this kind of product before dropping $60 on it. So finding these new spray-on products from Sonia Kashuk is a delight. The makeup artist's first limited-edition collection, available at Target, includes Eliminate Shine ($12.99) and Golden Summer ($12.99).
