How-To: A Pretty And Chic Stacked Ponytail

This two-part ponytail (also known as a stacked ponytail) will double your beauty pleasure! Not only is it a fantastic way to keep your hair off of your face and neck, it's also unconventional. In this photo, Jennifer Aniston is sporting a sort of well-hidden stacked ponytail.

You can choose to hide the lower ponytail underneath the top one like she has, or if your hair is really straight, you can make the look more obvious by separating the two tails further apart. Either way, when your hair isn't cooperating and the standard simple ponytail won't do, this is a simple way to jazz up a basic ponytail. STEP 1: While your hair is still wet, apply a styling product for hold.
STEP 2: Blow-dry your hair straight, then separate it into two sections: top and bottom.
STEP 3: Brush the top section back and pull it into a ponytail. Secure it with a thin hair elastic.
STEP 4: Repeat step 3 for the bottom ponytail. When all of your hair is secured, mist your head with a medium-hold hairspray.

First Look! J.Crew's Great Gatsby-Inspired Fall 2011 Collection

Yesterday, Jenna Lyons and Marissa Webb presented J.Crew's Fall 2011 collection at Industria Studios in NYC. Inspired by The Great Gatsby and Bonnie and Clyde, the collection highlighted rich saturated colors, some even neon, transformed into wide-legged and slim-cut trousers paired with cropped sweaters, pleated skirts, silk dresses, and sharp outerwear. As expected, the collection was styled to perfection via stacked bracelets, perfectly messy ponytails, and even more to note: an amazing shoe collection.
