It was the final day of Fashion Week, and while I'm sad to see it go, I'm excited to discover how many of these hair and makeup looks will make the transition into the mainstream. These final two days were absolutely lovely, with more old-guard designers like Michael Kors, Calvin Klein, and Oscar De La Renta injecting an elegance that nicely hedged the experimental looks from younger designers. Beauty Byte: Fragrances for Tory Burch and Queen Latifah

One of the little secrets of the fashion industry is that any given designer's big money comes from selling perfume, not dresses. It makes sense: Most women can't afford a Dior gown, but they can splurge on a Dior fragrance. Those beauty sales add up to make millions of dollars.

So it's no surprise that Tory Burch is working on her own signature fragrance. The LA Times reports that along with adding to her accessories line, Burch is developing a fragrance. "I like coriander and tuberose and Vetiver by Guerlain," she says. There's not much news beyond that at this point, but I wouldn't be surprised if the scent were to launch in a year or two.

She's not the only one, though. Queen Latifah is also getting into the scent business. To find out more about it, read more.

Queen Latifah has inked a deal with Parlux, the same company that produces fragrances for Paris Hilton and Jessica Simpson. The yet-to-be-named scent is due next fall. "I see fragrance as just a natural expression of this state of love - scent expresses a woman's confidence and sensuality, it's how she embraces her body, her mind and her strength," Latifah said to WWD. No word on what the perfume will smell like, but this is one celebrity scent I'm actually looking forward to. Something tells me it won't be powdery or fruity; let's hope that Queen does something unusual.

Tory Burch Amy Pump

You may remember the post a few weeks back about the highly anticipated Tory Burch Spring Collection of Reva Ballerina Flats. If not, just take a walk uptown in New York City to see all the yuppies, fashionistas and socialites wearing these ultra comfortable and colorful flats.

The latest addition to the Tory Burch cult shoe line is the Amy Pump, $250. This shoe is similar in construction (it has that soft rubber sole) and looks like the Reva, however this version has just shy of a two inch chunky square heel with a gold border along the bottom that matches the famed bold logo.

They are currently available in coconut and black patent leather. Unfortunately, you can not buy the shoes online yet, but they are available for purchase in any of the six Tory Burch boutiques nationwide. I just picked up my pair in black over the weekend!

To enter, all you have to do is log in to TeamSugar (if you're not a member, register now) and add a look of your own to any post on CelebStyle (see how after the jump). You'll be entered for every look you create, so there are plenty of chances to win! Be creative and check out the official rules here.

Click into any story ("look") on CelebStyle.com.
Once there, under the picture, you'll find a series of tags and several ways to play: You can comment, send an email, become a fan of the look ("love this"), or add a look of your own. Click either "add a look" link to get started.

On the next screen you'll be prompted to create a look. First, click on the "add image" button.

Now a new window will pop up. Leave the tab in "Search ShopStyle" and type in a product description for the item you're looking for (e.g. if you're looking for a black turtleneck, type in "black turtleneck.").

Once you've found the perfect item, click on the product and it will show up on your look page.

Repeat for every item that you'd like to include in your look.
When you're done, scroll to the bottom of the page and click "save look." Your look will now show up with the editor's look on the CelebStyle story (and you'll be entered into the contest!).
