When I saw this Vera Wang Princess Gift Set ($58) that has been created especially for Nordstrom Anniversary Pre-Sale Event I totally flipped. Not only is the 1.7 oz bottle of Eau de Toilette an awesome gift, but the huge lavender rhinestone heart key chain/compact filled with 30 elixir capsules is outer-limits cute!

If I love it, imagine how a teenager would feel about it. The key chain/compact is ridiculously girly, fun and flirty-and it's functional, so you can keep anything (well, anything tiny) inside the heart.

Each of the capsules is intended for individual use, so when you are out and about and want to freshen up, all you do is tear it open, tap the fragrance on your pressure points and then trash it! Vera Wang Princess Perfect Pair, $25, includes a light colored .17 oz light pink lip gloss on one side and a .17 oz Roller Ball Eau de Toilette of Vera Wang's Princess scent on the other side. It was created for the gal on the go who is playful and adventurous.

I'm not sure if you've tried this fragrance yet, but it's very sweet, light and girly. It is made from: water lily, apple, mandarin meringue, guava, Tahitian flower, tuberose, apricot skin, dark chocolate, amber, warm woods, pink frosting accord, musk, and vanilla. This makes for a great gift!

Britney Spears' Two Tempting Lip Gloss and Roll On Fragrance, $25, is perfect for the gal on the go. One side houses a pink shimmer lip gloss and the other side houses her Curious Perfume in a roll-on form. Curious is definitely girly too, but the fragrance is a bit more bold. It is made from: magnolia, golden anjou pear, lotus, tuberose, jasmine, cyclamen, vanilla musk, sandalwood and blonde wood. Britney also makes another perfume and lip gloss pair in her Fantasy scent, $25.

A Fragrance Fit For Royalty

Vera Wang Flower Princess, the newest member of the Vera Wang fragrance family, is expected to arrive in stores this April for a limited time. This fresh twist on the original Vera Wang Princess scent is a bit lighter, flirtier, and greener than the last.

It's made from a blend of ivy, tangerine, water lily, orange flower petal, rose, jasmine sambac, mimosa, apricot skin, amber, woods and warm musk. Also, the bottle is a different color. Instead of a violet colored-juice, the shade is a light, petal-pink. It still has the cute bejeweled crown (but with new pink stones) as well as the stunning silver cap which makes Flower Princess a great gift for your favorite prima donna!

The fragrance will be available in two eau de toilette sizes; 3.4 oz ($68) and 1.7 oz ($52) as well as in a 5 oz foamy body polish ($30) and a 5 oz satiny body lotion ($32).

Yesterday I stopped by Loehmann's for a little bargain hunting. No great hidden gems were to be had, but the place was positively overflowing with eaux de toilette. L by Gwen Stefani, Vera Wang Princess, even Prada - hundreds of bottles of perfume. Unfortunately, they were barely discounted, with Marc Jacobs Daisy costing only $3 less than retail. I passed, but I'm wondering: Do you buy discounted fragrance at off-price retailers, or do you skip it?
