Versace Bright Crystal Fragrance

I simply love this 2006 Versace scent, Bright Crystal. It's floral, airy, and the company's lightest and most feminine fragrance yet. It was created from a special blend of some of Donatella Versace's favorite ingredients which include yuzu, iced accord, peony, pomegranate, lotus flower, magnolia, acajou, vegetal amber, and musk.

To me, the bottle looks as elegant as a Versace evening dress. The transparent glass complements the delicate, pink fragrance, while the crystal cap is reminiscent of a diamond. The eau de toilette is available in a 1-oz. bottle for $48, a 1.7-oz. bottle for $62, and in a 6.8-oz. body lotion for $40. Which, come to think of it, is much more affordable than slipping into one of Donatella's clothing designs.

Versace Signature For Women

Soft and delicate usually isn't how you'd describe anything from Versace. Usually this brand has a more sexy, shocking and sensual connotation, but its new fragrance, Versace Signature has not ceased to amaze me with its unassuming light floral scent.

It made from a sweet blend of orchid, lotus, nymphea, azalea jasmine, musk, kashmir wood and cedarwood-the notes of which create a precious and warm fragrance. The collection just launched and is so far only sold at Saks, but everything is available online for your convenience.

The Versace Signature Collection consists of a 3.4 ounce ($89) and a 1.7 oz EDP spray ($69) a 6.7 oz body lotion ($50), a 6.7 oz bath gel ($40) and a gift set which includes a 3.4 oz EDP, a 3.4 ounce body lotion and a 3.4 oz bath gel ($89). Nautica Voyage by Nautica, $58, is cool, fresh and manly. It resembles the color of the sea and is meant for exploring his "uncharted waters!" You can buy this fragrance in four variations: a 3.4 oz bottle for $58, a 1.7 oz bottle for $44, after shave lotion for $45 and deodorant stick for $16.

How-To: Marisa Tomei's Hair at the 2009 Oscars

Marisa Tomei didn't pick up another Oscar last night, but when you already have an Academy Award at home, perhaps some of the pressure is off. (Maybe? Wishful thinking?) No matter, Marisa looked beautiful in her Versace gown, which inspired Fekkai stylist Adir Abergel to create this soft and cascading hairstyle.

Step one: Abergel applied Fekkai More All-Day Density Styling Whip (a mousse) to roots and Coiff Perfecteur Anti-Frizz Silkening Creme throughout hair.
Step two: Abergel blow-dried Marisa's hair with a round brush, pinning it in place as it cooled. Use hair clips to secure hair in various soft curves. Sweep bangs to the side, and don't worry if a few strands of hair move loosely - that's the idea.
Step three:Use bobby pins to secure the hair, then remove the hair clips. Finish with hairspray.

How-To: Angelina's Makeup at the Golden Globe Awards

Last night, Angelina Jolie stepped out in a devastating Versace gown and a dazzling smile. Although some of you say you'd like to see Angelina change her look from time to time, the same people admit that she doesn't really have a reason to do so - because she always looks gorgeous on the red carpet.

Makeup artist Mary Burton, working with Lancôme, created last night's look for Angelina. To find out how to recreate it at home, read more.

Face: Apply foundation and concealer where necessary. Use your fingers to dab Lancôme Color Design Blush in Model Mocha on the apples of cheeks.
Eyes: Use a pen eyeliner such as Lancôme Artliner in Noir to define the lash line. Start at the inner corner of the eye, staying close to the lashes, and blend outward. (If you've never used a pen eyeliner, keep the line straight by drawing a series of dots, then connecting them.) Line the outer corner of the lower lash line, too, gently smudging it. Burton used two mascaras - Courbe Virtuôse and Oscillation - to give Angelina's lashes volume and length.
Lips: Angelina's famous lips took center stage with a pale pink, sheer gloss. Burton used Lancôme Juicy Tubes in Spring Fling.

A Few More Words With the Captivating Coco Rocha

I've been lucky enough to interview model Coco Rocha twice over the past four months. Our first encounter was back in February just before the Rag & Bone show. What's inside of your makeup bag?
During the day I like to keep my look simple and keep my skin fresh. I use Yves Saint Laurent mascara and I love their Touche Brilliance Gloss for the lips. Also the Yves Saint Laurent Elle fragrance is a fresh, floral scent which I really like. The floral notes are my favorite, especially for summer. [Coco is the face of the fragrance.]

What skin care products do you take with you when you travel?
I am careful to take care of my face as a model. I take my face wash and moisturizer to apply morning and evening.

How do you keep your hair looking shiny and healthy?
I really try to get a trim at least every two months to keep my hair, especially my ends, healthy. It makes a big difference.

What was your favorite beauty look from any fashion show or ad campaign?
I love anything with dark smoky eyes and pale lips. If I had to name one, I'd say the Versace show was a favorite this past season.

You are well-known for your pouty lips. Are you into lip plumping products or are you more of a lip balm, lipstick or lip stain kind of girl?
I am more of a lip gloss or lipstick girl, depending if it's day or night. During the day, I like to wear a lip gloss or shine that adds shimmer.

Get excited for the 36th annual 2008 FiFi Awards, which will take place on May 20th in New York City. This event, sponsored by The Fragrance Foundation, honors creativity within the fragrance industry - it's a huge deal in the biz.

To give you an idea of who's up for Fragrance of the Year for Women's Nouveau Niche, the nominees are:

Andy Warhol Silver Factory and New York Bryant Park by Bond No. 9, Gucci by Gucci, Prada Infusion d'Iris and Versace.

For Fragrance of the Year luxe women's category the nominees are:

Chanel Chance Eau Fraîche, Coach, Daisy Marc Jacobs, Dolce & Gabbana The One, Emporio Armani Diamonds, Hermès' Kelly Calèche and Nina by Nina Ricci.
