We've seen it all over the runways and in magazines a million times already; this Spring big is back when it comes to hair! Here are three of my favorite volumizers to give your locks some oomph! To use, simply section your hair and spray the volumizer close to the root in short spritzes. Here's a helpful hint: follow with heat styling. As you blow dry - lift the roots with a round brush and apply direct heat.

Now that warmer weather is approaching, is your scalp heating up, too? Perhaps your roots and/or bangs are oily, but your ends are just fine. That's when hair powders come into play. Do You Backcomb Your Hair?

Back in my junior high years, backcombing was a very close personal friend of mine. How else was I to achieve claw bang perfection? Whether you call it teasing, ratting, or backbrushing, backcoming helps create volume, hide thin spots, and/or provides a base for updos. It can be extreme - think Lady Gaga - or it can be smooth and tame, like Jackie O. I particularly love teasing my locks when I'm headed out for a night of fun. What about you?
