Cheers To Vinotherapy!

Vinotherapy is a term coined by Caudalie founders Mathilde and Bertrand Thomas. It's the process of pampering your skin with products made from grade seeds and grape skins. Grape Seed strengthens blood vessels as well as contains polyphenols (antioxidants that combat free radicals).

Other properties of vinotherapy include reservatol, which promotes skin cell renewal and viniferine, an ingredient that reduces dark (liver or sun) spots. Here are a couple of products from the Caudalie product range that contain vinotherapeutic properties. The best part is that there's no hangover whatsoever!

Caudalie Sauvignon Scrub ($35) is a soft, whipped, creamy scrub that smells like grapefruit, essential oils and honey. It provides a matte finish. Lipstick marks are a recreational hazard of playing with makeup. I'm forever leaving traces of lip gloss and lipstick on the edges of soda cans, espresso cups, wine glasses, and any other drinking vessel imaginable. One of my friends avoids getting it on her glassware, but somehow always gets it in her hair. Another girl I know complains about it getting on her clothes all the time. What about you? Dark shades, especially wine and berry hues, are such an cold-weather thing for me that seeing them on people during the warm months is quite a surprise. Have you ever just wanted to get blotto by yourself in the tub?
