Whether they're blessed with amazing genes or they've got access to the best docs around, there's no doubt that stars are known for their seemingly ageless good looks. In turn, there are other celebrities who present themselves in such a sophisticated manner, they (in the most flattering way possible) actually appear to be older than you'd expect. It's your turn to figure it out.

After being given a Juicy Tube by the people at the Lancome counter recently, my mother called me to ask if, all the way across the country, I wanted her to send it to me. "I'm too old for lip gloss," she said. I assured her that lip hydration did not have an age limit, but she refused to believe me, and several days later I received an extremely small FedEx package full of Juice.

We all know that stars have practically unlimited access to top-notch hair colorists, the greatest brow shapers on earth, and the most talented cosmetic dentists. Then again, others lucked out with genes that keep them looking baby-faced. It's been a long time since we've guessed celebrities' ages, so here's a whole new round of stars.

This story popped up recently, and I wasn't gonna cover it at first because the research underpinning it is narrow and lends itself to a lot of pat, stereotypical conclusions about mothers and daughters. The story seems to be reporting wholesale that we're all going to age just like our mothers (dun dun dun!), so I figured I had to clear a few things up so you get the real info.
Look, this study is based on data culled from just 10 sets of mothers and daughters who were brought in because they were already similar-looking.

Getting older isn't the terrifying thing so many people think it is. With that said, yes, your looks will change over time, but the tradeoff is that you'll get wiser, too. (I like to think of it as beauty evolution.) There are things you already know are coming, but guess what?

Madonna appeared on Nightline last night to talk about her new album and documentary, I Am Because We Are. I was sad to hear her say that she likes her thighs now because they "aren't as chubby" as they used to be, but I did like what she had to say about the double standard that aging women face:
I don't think we live in just a sexist society, we live in an ageist society, connected to women. I think women in an unconscious way are valued for their youth, youthful beauty, not so much for their wisdom and experience.

Remember Nora Ephron, the screenwriter of When Harry Met Sally...? Lately, it seems like all she wants to talk about is how she feels bad about her aging neck. "The neck is a dead giveaway," she writes.

Woo hoo! Cindy Crawford and the rest of the mole people have something big to celebrate. A new study reports some great news for those of us who have plentiful moles (or beauty marks, if you prefer):
Scientists claim that those with lots of moles are years younger biologically than those with mark-free skin.
