ANTM Beauty Quiz: "America's Next Top Model Is..."

It's official: Nicole Fox is America's Next Top Model. Contain your thrill! OK, while this finale wasn't the most suspenseful ever, it was nice to see that two sweet and semi-geeky girls made it to the end, right? As my short-legged cat Milo and I watched the episode, we had mixed emotions. This may be the first time that the winner had more viability as a model, and Nicole could pick up some edgier gigs. Still, I couldn't help but want to hug Laura, who clearly was crushed by being the runner-up. This episode earns just a two-Milo rating. Who Should Win ANTM Tonight?

Tonight, we'll find out who will win this cycle of America's Next Top Model. Oh boy! While it wasn't the most exciting season, it did introduce us to Laura, whose bloggin' is just as endearing as her talkin'. Will this Kentucky blonde leave the farm and go on to fame and fortune? Or will the red-haired Nicole come out on top? My money's on Nicole, if only because she has apparently stolen Andie Walsh's prom dress. Who do you think deserves to win more?

Does "Supermodel" Mean Anything Anymore?

We all know the supermodels by their first names: Naomi. Linda. Christy. Heidi. Gisele. Whitney.

Wait, Whitney? Yep, Whitney Thompson - as in the winner of America's Next Top Model. She's launching her own line of handmade jewelry and candles, calling it Supermodel. "I've tried to make my collection real," she told First Coast News. "It's stuff that I love and I would wear and I'm a supermodel so I was thinking, 'Hey! Supermodel.'"

While I love Top Model and hope that Whitney's endeavor goes well, none of the show's winners are exactly household names in the way that Cindy Crawford is. Then again, neither are the most popular runway models - just try asking a random dude who Jessica Stam or Raquel Zimmerman are. So maybe Claudia Schiffer is right when she says that the age of the supermodel is long over. If it is, do you think it matters?

Another season of America's Next Top Model has come and gone, and I have to say I'm a little sad to see it go. Sure, it wasn't my favorite cycle. Sure, it was mostly a bore. But I grew to like some of the final three, namely Allison ("Jealous"). Per usual, the finale didn't have much spark, but I loved seeing the girls walk the catwalk and a little mud wrestling (is that what it was?) never hurt anyone. Although most of you were rooting for Analeigh, she was not meant to be America's Next Top Model. Instead, McKey won that honor, which means we'll soon be treated to experiencing her life as a Cover Girl. Overall, this season fizzled toward the end, but as we all know, there's no shortage of would-be models vying to compete for next cycle. In this week's episode of America's Next Top Model, we heard some startling accusations: breast implants, racism, anorexia - just to name a few. All in all, the model hopefuls struggled with being too plain or too over-the-top, and Tyra and co. weren't shy about telling any of them so. But that's just the meat and potatoes, I'm more concerned with all of the hair and makeup misses and mishaps. How close were you paying attention?
