Paris Hilton is launching a new perfume called Can Can , due in stores later this month. This will be the fourth fragrance for Paris. The first was Paris Hilton, followed by Just Me and Heiress. In which of her four ads for her fragrances do you think she looks best?

'Can Can' You Handle More Paris?

Most of you prefer Paris Hilton as a blonde, but after reading some of your comments, I'm sensing that some of you would just prefer that she go away for a while. Miss Hilton is probably hoping that Paris fatigue is over by October, when the heiress introduces Can Can, her fourth scent. According to WWD:

Can Can is a blend of top notes of clementine flower, cassis and nectarine; middle notes of wild orchid and orange blossom, and bottom notes of soft musk, amber and woods. The three previous Hilton fragrances - Paris Hilton, Just Me and Heiress - were classified as fruity floral fragrances.

At $45 for a 1.7-ounce bottle and $55 for a 3.4 ounce bottle, Can Can is a little more pricey than Paris' earlier fragrances. But judging by the money Paris' fragrances are pulling in already-$75 million wholesale a year, according to the article-there's no shortage of people willing to buy them.

I have to admit, the Can Can concept is pretty cute; it's about time Paris the person linked up with an icon of Paris the city. Models in Moulin Rouge-style costumes will hand out samples of the fragrance on feathers rather than on traditional cards, and the bottle does remind me of the famed dancers from the City of Light. Would You Rather Eat Tuna Canned in Oil or Water?

Despite growing up on sandwiches made from tuna canned in water, these days, my preferences tend toward tuna canned in oil. Why? Because water-packed tuna is so dry and devoid of fat that I find myself reaching for grease-laden mayonnaise anyway - so I prefer tuna that's already tasty in its own right. In my opinion, the best canned fish comes from European companies such as Tonnino and Matiz. Which would you rather eat?

Messed Up on an Interview? Ask For Another Chance

If thinking about your last interview makes you cringe, you may want to ask your interviewer for a second go at it if you know you're qualified for the position. Apparently, it can work in some circumstances, according to Glassdoor.com. But you need to be honest and humble when attempting to ask for another chance. Another idea to get a second interview is to ask someone to step in for you. Perhaps a friend, colleague, or recruiter who is willing to vouch for you and your abilities.

Sometimes asking for a second interview may work for you, because the employer may view it in a positive light and respect your attempt. Glassdoor says:

It takes courage to request a second chance and some employers may admire that, said Tashana Sims-Hudspeth, a Columbus, Ohio-based human resource manager who also teaches on HR and being successful in college. She suggests an approach that includes an apology, a general explanation of what went wrong, and a request for a second chance. The candidate must be very clear how much they want to work at the employer and then use their personal judgment on giving a detailed explanation on what contributed to their bad performance.

If you were told that you weren't picked because another job candidate had a skill you didn't possess, Keystone Associate’s Pennell Locey says you should take a six-week class to brush up on the skill, or gain the experience through volunteering for a two-month charity project. After you've gained the knowledge or the experience, write back to the hiring manager to let them know that you have put in the effort to attain the missing skills and experience they were looking for. If you do possess those qualities, Locey encourages job seekers to write a brief follow-up email and cite one or two examples that highlight them. Personally, I think there's no harm in trying for a second chance and that the worst response you can get is a "no." As long as you go about it with finesse, reaching out to employers again might leave them with a good, and more memorable, impression of you, and they may potentially keep you in mind for future positions.
