Or should I say wrinkle in a time machine? This 1980s hairstyle often pops up here and there, reminding us that crinkly, crimpy hair will probably never die.
Featured in several shows from Paris to London to New York, the style ranged from severe Christian Dior (upper left) to a more straight down, everyday style à la Christian Lacroix, Ruffian, and Karen Walker.

Fab and I both loved Rachel Comey's geeky-chic styles on the runway, but something tells me you'll have strong opinions on the hair and makeup that went with them. I think the softly crimped, pulled-back hair is inventive—even if the purple-tinted lips reminded me of hypothermia. What do you think?

Last week, our FabSugar team attended the VPL Spring 2008 Fashion Show. While the clothing was sheer and chic, and the makeup was pretty and plain, the hair was va va voom!
