3 Quick Steps to Emma Stone's Pretty Springtime Waves

Newly blond Emma Stone was a vision of springtime beauty at the 2012 Kids' Choice Awards. Donning a pale pink lipstick and light-toned shadow, Emma topped her light-as-air look off with a pretty, softly waved coiffure, which was the perfect balance between sweet and sultry. Learn how you can ride the waves, just like Emma, in three quick steps below.

Hairstylist David Babaii prepped Emma's hair with IT&LY Pure Style Mousse and then divided her hair into three sections: the top, sides, and back (leaving the nape portion free).
Next, Babaii used a nozzled blow dryer and medium round brush to smooth the hair straight, working from the neck up.
To finish, he took large sections of Emma's hair and wrapped the lower portions around a large barrel curling iron. Once the entire head was curled, Babaii spritzed Emma's strands with the brand's Pure Definition Hair Spray for hold and UV protection.

For the Butter premiere yesterday at the Toronto Film Festival, celebrity stylist David Babaii For Couture Colour created this fresh, texturized bun for Olivia, using Audrey Hepburn as inspiration.

To get the look, apply the brand's Pequi Oil treatment to clean, wet hair. Blow-dry the hair, focusing on keeping it a tad messy to provide texture to the style. Next, wrap random sections of hair around a two-and-a-half-inch curling iron (Babaii used one from Revlon), alternating the direction of the curl for extra oomph. Now, simply sweep the hair and fringe into a bun for a classic coiffure with a modern edge.

It has been nearly a year since Kate Hudson announced that she was diving into the beauty business, and only now are we able to see the fruits of her labor. Kate, with stylist David Babaii, worked to create David Babaii for Wildaid. The 10-piece line currently consists of all the usual suspects like shampoos, conditioners, and pomades - with mousse and hairspray on the way - as well as a hair dryer and flat iron. The products are all in the mid-tier price range ($11.95 to $14.95) with the styling tools on the higher end of the scale ($119.95 for both the flat iron and the hair dryer), but the good news is that part of the proceeds will benefit the Wildaid wildlife protection program. I'm sold, how about you?

Kate Hudson's Animal-Friendly Haircare Collection

Oscar-nominated actress, Hollywood mom and all-around cute lady Kate Hudson is about to add one more title to her resume: Co-creator of a haircare line. She's teaming up with stylist David Babaii to develop David Babaii for Wildaid, a forthcoming eco-friendly haircare collection free of sulfates, parabens, animal products and animal testing. Slated to feature shampoos, conditioners and styling tools, it should hit stores later this year. According to the press release, part of the revenue will go to wildlife-protection group Wildaid, which means your purchase will help protect endangered animals such as sea turtles and tigers.

Here's what Kate has to say about the collaboration:

"I've been asked to do a lot of campaigns in the past and this feels like the perfect fit for me. David is the best at what he does and he's put so much of himself into the development of this line. And the fact that we can do it in an ecologically responsible and animal-friendly manner that can help preserve wildlife is what makes this truly special."
