Burberry to Launch Its Own Cosmetics Line
If you already love your Burberry trench, scarf, bikini, and handbag, get ready to add makeup to your collection, because WWD is reporting that the company has just announced the colors for its cosmetics line, which is slated to arrive in July 2010. Philippe Benacin, chairman and managing director of Inter Parfums SA, says the collection will be "a complete color line with about 100 references for eyes, lips, and skin" and will be carried at Nordstrom. My question is, though, how will Burberry create makeup that's any better than what a company that specializes in the products does?

Emma Watson might be developing a reputation as a budding fashionista, particularly as she's been making the promotional rounds for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince dressed in gorgeous gowns and enviable hairstyles.
