Jennifer Garner was working her signature soft waves last night to fabulous effect at the Valentine's Day premiere. I think the look would be gorgeous for actual Valentine's day, too, (or any night out, for that matter) so here's the low down on how to do it from the man who creates the look, Frederic Fekkai stylist Adir Abergel. To find out how he does it, just keep reading.

Over the weekend, there definitely wasn't a shortage of celebrity sightings, as the stars flocked to Miami for various Super Bowl festivities. Among the revelers was Jessica Alba, pictured here wearing a much shorter bob. While most of you prefer her as a brunette, tell me this: Which length do you think suits her more?

I love unusual salon signs. Perhaps it's due to an intentional pun, the copy is inadvertently missing a letter, or a strange business name makes it all the more fun. The "Greene Nails" salon near my apartment, for instance, doesn't conjure up images of the kind of nails I'd like to step out with; it makes me think more along the lines of "moldy growths," not Chanel's lovely jade hue.

Now that she's a New Yorker, Whitney Port has that whole effortlessly pulled-together look down pat, as evident in her appearance at a Susan G. Komen Foundation benefit last night in NYC. I'm liking how she accessorized her all-black ensemble with an ultra-punchy lipstick, soft shimmery gold shadow, and a casually tossed-back updo, accentuated with a texturized black headband.

I've long been a fan of DIY treatments, particularly when they involve cheap and readily available ingredients straight from the kitchen. We've already seen one brave Bella take on going au naturel, but what does a hair and scalp expert have to say about the effectiveness of several at-home remedies? That's just what trichologist, aka scientist who studies the hair and the scalp, Philip Kingsley has explored for the Daily Mail.

The majority of you were loving Jennifer Lopez's look at the Grammys, and I've got the scoop on the inspiration behind her hairstyle from stylist Robert Vetica, who worked with the multitalented actress last night. Inspired by the 1970s, Vetica focused on creating volume and texture to give Jennifer's one-length hair a throwback feel, and here's how:
First, apply Moroccanoil Treatment on wet locks and blow-dry until the hair is smooth, using a round brush to build volume. After making a center part, start curling.

Well, wonder no longer. Kimberly Kimble, the stylist who created the look, says that she worked Bella Via Hair Glitz (prices vary) into Beyonce's hair. I thought the metallic ribbon strands were actually Bling String, but it appears the tinsel in question was something a little more high end.
